we're sitting here in Toronto - a little jittery about the G-20 - when the building starts shaking

we're getting ready to evacuate the building - v.p's telling us to gather our things

emails start coming in - did you feel it did you feel it

people got off calls with colleagues in Connecticut and Montreal (those places are a long way away) - they felt it

whoa - the building really sways on the 24th floor

I'm in Upstate New York. Nothing felt here... never thought there'd be an earthquake anywhere near here, though.

@ehBeth,
Small rumble here on the 2nd floor, but pictures swinging, etc. Still no damage reports that I can see, so that's good.

@Tai Chi,
and now southern and eastern ontario are under severe weather watch - unstable airmass coming from the U.S. - via detroit/windsor may bring TORNADOES - ackkkkk....

btw the st.lawrence river valley is an earthquake prone area .
there have been little bumbs every few years along the st.lawrence - apparently ottawa felt it quite a bumb this time - people runninmg out into the streets - but apparently no major damages - some chimneys toppled , windows cracked .
