Rex has a good idea, Dupre, another thing you can try is CCleaner, run the "registry" section after the basic cleanup part, make sure the reg backup box is checked, delete whatever it tells you, restart computer and clean install your missing dll.
Btw, aren't you the Dupre who thought (years and years ago) her dog might have committed suicide? I'm the former "helen of troy" and I thought of that thread when my adored Siberian Husky died, and of some of your comments there... good luck with ccleaner
