Does anyone know any good murder mystery movies? I don’t like all the
gore that’s in most horror films. I just like very suspenseful,
real-life murder movies like The Strangers & Zodiac.
@PastaRoni,
The HBO film "CITIZEN X" was a good flick about the "rostov Ripper" a guy name Chickatillo (I think thats how ya spell it). It had sevearl good performances and Donald SUtherland got a Golden Globe and EMmy for his role as a tired but pushy colonel of detectives in Rostov. I believe it was made in the late 1990's and can probably be downloaded from Netflix or HBO store.
Id give it 4.5 stars out of 5 because you know it was filmed out of country.
@PastaRoni,
Lots of old Hitchcock fit.
Rear Window and Psycho (the original) would be perfect.
hmm...i'm gonna have to look into these movies cuz i've never heard of any of them..haha...I'm assuming these are all based on true stories, rite..cuz we'd really like to see some twisted real life stuff ..haha..
Son of Sam is really good, better than Zodiac in my opinion. I saw a movie with Al Pacino called 88 minutes recently which i liked, and a classic is Primal Fear with Richard Gere. Hope that helps
Body Heat
Perfect Murder
Unfaithful
@YellowMustard,
ahh primal fear, so good. I watched that in a psych class in high school
and actually paid attention throughout the whole class because of it. I
saw a commercial monday night for a tv movie about the milkshake
murders:

Interesting story so hopefully the movie will be decent:

@GhostSong,
Had never heard about this before, but I read a little bit of the trutv story and it seemed pretty interesting. Definitely foul play because these guys seem a little sketchy. Checked IMDB and the movie is called the two mr kissels:

On tomorrow night and I’m stuck at home with a broken leg anyways so
I’ll probably check it out.
Among the classics, I especially appreciated "Twelve Angry Men".
I suppose the one I most enjoy seeing over and over though is "A Few Good Men"
So this weekend i watched The Two Mr. Kissels and Strangers on a Train..
As for Strangers on a Train, leave it to Hitchcock to create such a twisted movie..haha.. That dude Bruno is a toal psycho...setting Guy up like that...not cool..
Stamos did a good job playing Andrew Kissel. I can’t believe how selfish Nancy Kissel was….she was being greedy & only thinking about herself..not thinking about the children and how this would have an effect on them.
