I've read on a2k several persons who claim to be non-racists but report that they voted for McCain, Why is that?

Its ideological, to stop a Marxist from becoming president
and having inimical effects upon our personal freedom and
trashing the Constitution with help from his allies in Congress.

In addition, altho Sarah and I disagree about freedom of abortion
and stem cell research, with those (admittedly very important) exceptions,
I accepted her as being pro-individual freedom.
I also have a gut feeling that McC likes the Bill of Rights, including 2A

I 've posted a few times before
that if Biden were running for the presidency against Condi Rice or Alan Keyes,
I 'd have preferred either of them and voted for them.
