she lay awake and baked in the moonlight
looked up and it was written in the stars
a diamond tear rolled out from her eye
and stemmed a thousand more
body became seperated from the soul
she gave up
just curled up and died in the corner of her mind
far from blind her last thought was of you....
how the hell could she do?
all the things she put you through?
a life time passed and flashed images,
she never thought would be seen again
a hundred summers by the lake, snowflakes melting on your skin
far from fear she felt serene at peace a warmth within
and softly like only mothers know
angels rocked her back and forth
untill at last she slept no longer wept or heard regret, she had no secrets
no pain, anguish or harm would come
she joined the stars and there she shined
celestial light for all of time
