C'mon Ehbeth. Missing sock thread??? Best you can do??? What's next, a joke about tearing the tag off your mattress and getting arrested?

I'm disappointed. Going to go watch the weather channel for a few hours.

@Slappy Doo Hoo,
Slapslap, a couple of hours in the laundry room can do strange things to anyone. Going out to take photos of the socks was just about the best thing I did yesterday.

It's pathetic, but it's my <sob> life.

Honey, before he entered a laundry room Slappy had a full head of hair, dressed in Gap and was black. When a man becomes a sox-fiend there is no limit to his depravity.....

Ditto, only reverse the color....no matter which two I grab, they are a pair, every time.

Yeah; that 's my theory.
I wear vested dark wool suits, of identical sartorial architecture.
Hence, black sox will always go with them.

If I may inquire: Y do u want white sox ?

@OmSigDAVID,
For several months out of the year I wear shorts to work...cargo shorts/work boots....black socks and shorts just don't jive.

I wear sport socks, the type that sit very low on my ankle, so honestly I could wear brilliant pink ones and nobody would notice....you really can't see them...but white is just readily available. I never could stand tall socks, lookwise or feel...the type {height} that Bethie keeps posting would drive me insane. At one time in my life....for most of my 20's....I'd say about 90% of my cloths were solid black, the rest charcoal grey...and yeah basically identical. If I had the type of job that required a suit...that's laughable....I'm sure I would mimic your wardrobes description.

@OmSigDAVID,
Oh....I'm just not a suit and tie kind of guy....nor inclined toward any of the types of jobs usually associated with wearing a suit.
