Poofism allows this to be a real possibility. Those who claim the Universe was created 6000 years ago and only "made" to look old, simply haven't followed that reasoning to it's logical conclusion.

If God can do anything, then all of reality might be an illusion. To believe in the supernatural is to implicitly define physical "reality" as subjective.

In this banned by the Mormon church cartoon, we see the bizarre "truth" about the origin of life on Earth and roles played by Joseph Smith and his underling Jesus.

@rosborne979,
If there is a god and it can do anything then why would it not have simply ensured that the bible was accurate in its datings?

Why would an all powerful god want to confuse us mere mortals?

The answer to both is an old truism: the bigger the lie, the more it will be believed.

I have seen this video before -- or I THINK I did. Why is this 'not suitable for children' when there isn't a profane word, nipple or anything remotely offensive about it?

@edgarblythe,
How dare you besmirch belief in supernatural beings?

The nominative determinism of your blithe spirit gives me the 'edgars'.

And to think I made you what you are.
