I recently attended LAndmark Forum. I am intrigued by the education I got about myself. I was unaware of "ONTOLOGY" as a science. I am wondering if there are any Graduates in A2k or are their people interested in Ontology as in The study of Being?

All graduates in ontology would , be required to discuss what their diplomas are, ontologically speaking.

An ontology graduate at its first job says.

"Let us analyze these "Fries" that you desire"

@farmerman,
When I looked up ontology I see that it has means different meaning in different fields for example in software engineering vs philosophy.
I am strictly interested in " The study of being".
It is hard to describe. You c an look it up www.landmarkeducation.com

@ossobuco,
You are right we view data from our point of view. Reality does not exist.
It is a deep self inquiry after which you see your blind spots or what you don't know that you don't know about yourself.
I am continuing with hte curriculum and going this weekend for my advanced course. So my perception of it might change after that.

@DrMom,
I have never attended est, but from what I have heard, the training was very
high-pressure and intense. There also seems to have been pressure to go on to
the next level of training and to recruit. For some people it was a harsh,
disorienting experience.

Now it may be that this is all exaggerated. I don't know; I wasn't there. But I
just felt I should urge caution.

By the way, I studied onotology many years ago as part of a course in
Aristotelian and Thomistic metaphysics. It was definitely boot camp for the
brain, but I'd have a hard time explaining any of it now.

@George,
I just attended the advanced course. It is hard to explain what it is ,but it was the most amazing education about myself. I would leave ontology out of it. It is about transformation. It is very rigorous , yes, because it is a deep self inquiry that you do for 12- 14 hrs a day and then some assignments are done after that and believe me some are done in your sleep.
I got insight into who I am, why I do what I do, and my misery and my complaints have disappeared. I have two nieces, I paid 100 dollars each to enroll them. The day when they finished their course, I felt like I got a million dollars because I saw that I was the transformation of two people. My life canntot work if the life of people around me is not working. That is why people are so enthusiastic to share it. Is it a business because they want to take this work to Pakistan and Iran, Yes.

All I can say is I can't wait for my son and husband to do it.

@George,
Thanks George, I recreated myself yesterday as a possibility of Vitalitiy and Joy and gave up my act of I don't know who I am( aka dramaqueen). This is landmark lingo but I think you get the point.
