How hypocritically stupid.

The line about lipstick on a pig has been part of Obama's stump speech far before Palin was selected to be VP.

I though you guys were against political correctness-- but you want Obama to change his joke because now there is a woman on the ticket?

Here's what's puzzling to me.... Obama says "lipstick on a pig".... and almost instantly the McCain campaign comes out indignant because they jump to the immediate assumption he's speaking of Palin.... doesn't speak well to their own thoughts of their candidate....Obama says pig.... McCain thinks Palin.......too delicious...

My point is that this whole thing is a joke, even though RosieO is a big pig.
Obama should come out and make a public statement to that effect before it's too late.

I don't know if he meant it as a joke or directed at Palin. Even though the decit thing to do would be to apologize stating that it was directed at Palin and he meant no offense. A simple two second..." my intention wasn't to offend anyone, I'm sorry it anyone misunderstood and took it that way."

Politicians get too caught up in - I can't look weak so I can't say sorry. It happens to all parties and sometimes just common sense and courtesy should prevail (which doesn't seem to common in policitics).
