@mismi,
Milk is the worst. That and leftovers that I don't really want to eat. I run out of tupperware ridiculously fast.

This thread reminded me of this website, http://www.fridgewatcher.com/
"Fridgewatcher.com is a project where people open their fridges to others. Cause every fridge tells a story. We want to know yours. Send us a picture of your refridgerator. "

@caribou,
There's also a bunch of groups on flickr that like to take pictures of their fridges.

I went to the store recently! (I think I went a month or so, with practically nothing)
eggs, on the old side
old multi-grain bread
yogurt, plain nonfat and vanilla
fat-free half and half
3 Amstel Lights
Veggies- lettuce, carrots, mini sweet peppers, mixed greens, iceberg, green beans, broccoli, mushrooms
Strawberries
75% sharp cheese, italian seasoned chicken short-cuts, pepperoni slices, parm and romano shaker
Condiments and crap- mayo, ketchup, mustard, horseradish, hoisin sauce, thai peanut sauce, bbq sauce, maple syrup, chocolate syrup, worchester sauce, relish, soy sauce, 3 salad dressings, capers, butter, raspberry jam, powdered buttermilk
Spagetti sauce, part can of tomato sauce
Catnip, cat snacks
spare batteries
champayne
spit hit of crappy white wine for cooking
one dill pickle, banana hots
one small bottle of snapple.

ew, I need to throw out the sour cream

@caribou,
yeah...that sour cream. ew.

That's a great fridge caribou. Sounds yummy - except for the batteries and catnip and snacks.....

I will not take a pic of the contents of my fridge - ever.

@mismi,
I live alone. If there was crap in the house to eat, I would eat it. Simpler to not buy it.

My fridge needs a good cleaning...

@msolga,
Actually our fridge is unusually uncluttered. We dumped old bottles and jars that had been collecting since (this is embarrassing) BEFORE we moved in. In the door I have:
truffle oil
porcini oil
whole seed french mustard
yellow mustard
tamari sauce
fish sauce (should be tossed, probably)
two small jars of olives in brine
salad dressing (should be tossed, probably)
adobo sauce
maple syrup
and insulin

My drawer/crisper is a bit messier. I have some old, but remarkably decent cheese, a couple of old insulin vials (there's still a few drops in there!), the loose outer leaves of onions and garlic......

@littlek,
I need to clean mine as well. I actually did the main part...I need to go through the door shelves...They are packed with salad dressings - some home made vinegrettes that are probably past palatable and other store bought that I have no clue how long they have been there. The ones I use are to the left of the shelf...the rest I tune out apparently. The bottom shelf I have jams and jellies, and preserves. I need to go through those as well. It is just not appealing...and not necessary apparently or I would have already done it.

Oy, mine is full as well, since we went shopping the other day.

Milk, orange juice, water, liquid creamer, olive paste, pesto sauce, dried tomatoe sauce, olives, capers, horseradish, mustard, katchup, salad dressing,
teriyaki sauce, chicken broth, 2 cans of mixed fruits, 6-pack of pudding,
apple sauce, peaches, apricots, grapes, plums, tomatoes, fennel, eggplant,
carrots, red cabbage, mixed salad, different kind of cheeses, salami, chicken,
cold cuts, eggs, butter, smoked salmon, dill sauce, cottage cheese, yoghurt.
Oh, and Gerber baby food (ham) for the dog - he loves a spoonful on top of his
dry food.

Much cluttering here, but all will be eaten eventually Very Happy

Hey!

D'ye think Olga might be fond of curries?

I've got a collection of curry pastes in the door - and little else, really. I'm due to shop tonight (have to, out of milk - will be complaints from management)

I have a carton with 2 remaining eggs
2 x 250g butter
1.5 containers of low fat etc., margarine
several bottle of white wine
1 bottle beer (xxxx brand - came with a friend on Sunday)
cuppla carrots
plain and sr flour
rice
red onions
limoncello
cuppla cheeses (parmesan, cheddar, and something white I can't remember or describe - may be fetta, but who knows)
1 slice of ham, age doubtful, but slimy, in plastic bag.

Thank goodness for garbage night tonight!

Alright, alright! Yeah, I know it's the silliest collection of fridge clutterer-upers listed here. Actually, I'm not quite sure how it happened. Confused
I will try to do better in the future. Wink

@shewolfnm,
Sadly, in my case, not being fabulously wealthy these days, means I cook a lot more than I used to - sometimes when I'm defintely not remotely in the mood! Hence the crazy jumble of jars & bottles that make it hard to fit all the fresh stuff in. A girl's gotta be prepared for any culinary possibility! Laughing

@etan,
Oh, I freeze my unwanted left-overs, etan. And pretend they'll taste better later! (Note to self: tackle that freezer!)
