two men were in a bar. one was the server and the other the drinker. bad english, i know. so the drinker was blind, but he has superb hearing, the waiter was deaf but he saw everything. the drinker got drunk, but he only ordered iced water. when and how did the server get to get the drinker drunk?

Riddler can you clarify this sentence it'a bit vague. thanks
during the time the drinker sat down and the server served the drink, when in that space of time did the server get the chance to get the drinker drunk?
Bourbon-laced peanuts in the snack bowl.
What? It could happen.....
Or - the ice cubes in the water were made of liquor, except that liquor doesn't tend to freeze up that well.
you got it sugar, the ice cubes it is.
