I'm looking for a 9-letter English word (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) which matches the following
Clues:
The letters 5, 8, 2 & 3 (in that order) spell a CURRENCY. eg : cash, cent, coin, dime, euro.......................
The letters 1, 7, 6 & 9 (in that order) spell a type of CHEESE. eg : brie, blue, curd, edam, feta ...........................
The letters 4, 5, 9, 2 & 8 (in that order) spell a type of STONE. eg: emery, flint, guard, grave, grind, jewel .................
Notes:
Seven of the nine letters are different.
Four of the nine letters are vowels.
The correct word (and ALL sub-clue words) is present in Webster's Dictionary - 10th Edition
Vowels here, are defined as: A, E, I, O and U.
@Subbu A,
BLASTULAE
But now I have a question. Where do these nine letter word puzzles come from? A member used to post them here and pretend he made them up.
