@tsarstepan,
No, I'm sorry, when I found the thread I didn't want to lose it so I just bookmarked.
I have a few really old movies that are still relevant today.
Dr. Strangelove, funnier to me now than it was in 1963
A Face in the Crowd, Andy Griffith's best ever film, and once again relevant today
Night of the Hunter (Robert Mitchum and Lillian Gish) scares the bejesus out of me every time.
Sunset boulevard (wow)
More modern films:
Unforgiven (western movie)
Kill Bill 1 and 2, flamboyant revenge flick
Pulp Fiction, (people in terrible trouble for any number of reasons, but also some very slick humor, and a revenge flick as well)
Saving Private Ryan
The Kings Speech
And every-once in a while, watch a Mel Brooks movie, start with Blazing Saddles
