Where or where did my avatar go?

Go to http://www.gravatar.com/

Login with the same email address you use for A2K. Load your picture. Wait (anywhere between 30 minutes and 5 days).

I logged in with the same email address. There was no place to load a picture.

I think I need step by step instructions..............

ok, once you've logged in to gravatar:

My Account --> Add an Image
..............


select an image from your PC
..............

click Browse, select the image, then click Next

now here's the tricky part:

Crop and Finish
..............

grab a corner of the white dotted line until you see a double arrow, and drag until you are happy with the two previews on the right.
do the same with the opposite corner.
you can also grab a side to stretch the image.
when you're happy with the previews, click Crop and Finish!

next -- choose a rating for your image (G,PG, R,X).
next -- choose the image and click Confirm

it may take time for your avatar to appear on A2k, so be patient...

Thanks for the instructions, region philbis. I appreciate your taking the time. Is there a size limit for the avatars? They seem smaller.

ummm....I'll try to do this tomorrow. I'm only running on 2 cylinders at the moment

i believe avatar size is now uniform, but i don't think there's a limit on image size with Gravatar...
