Two spherical buoys are attached by two short lines of same length to a single anchor point.
What orientation will the main axis of the doublet take in relation to a steady horizontal current?
What will be the drag force on the doublet compared to that on a single isolated buoy?
I was wondering about that myself.
If a solitary tuna passed by a coral reef at the approximate speed of 23 mph, would an inquisitive shark, noticing his passing, take pursuit?
For the sake of argument let's go with hammerhead.
IMHO, highly doubtful, as anything over 20 mph requires sustained effort...
@Rockhead,
If you are not going to be serious, Rockhead, then would you kindly refrain from participating in conversations regarding the speed of sharks or mackerel?
I take this stuff seriously
@gustavratzenhofer,
My bad, Oh grizzled one...
