Me too! Serif fonts are always harder for me to read.

I like the font on the titles but not in the body text.

@dlowan,
Me too, dlowan, but if others could chose another...

Sometimes I increase my text view on my browser towards the end of the day..

@squinney,
which operating system are you using?

windows XP: right-click Desktop --> Properties --> Display Setting --> Resolution

vista: right-click Desktop --> Personalize --> Display Setting --> Resolution

(i noticed the post preview font is different than the posted font...)

@Region Philbis,
Or alternatively, you can change the font size setting in your browser - might be easier, and it doesnt affect the size of other things.

Eg, in Firefox: click the "View" menu at the top of your browser, click "Text Size", then click "Increase". Or just push the Ctrl and the + button at the same time, that should do it too.

Hmm - I just checked it, Internet Explorer (I'm using v7) has that option too: click the "Page" button at the top right of your screen, choose "Text size" in the drop down menu, and choose "Larger" or "Largest". Except -- it works like a charm on, say, the Google News page, but it doesnt seem to work on A2K. I'll post it on the A2K bugs thread..

@Region Philbis,
My resolution is already as low as it can go. (800 by something) In my Internet "Tools" I have the fonts set to medium normally. Changed it to Largest yesterday and it didn't change anything. Nothing. In my Main settings (non-internet) I have the font set to Large.

I just adjusted my brightness / contrast on the monitor and that didn't change anything either. I think the background here is a bit greyish/bluish white which seems to be the largest part of my eye fatigue here.

@nimh,
Thanks nimh. That's what I was just typing that I tried yesterday when you posted. Yes, my Google home page is now HUGE! ... But didn't change here at all.

@nimh,
IE7 should have a little magnifying glass and a "100%" in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Just click the magnifying glass.

It will rotate through 125%->150%->100%.

There's also a drop-down menu just to the right of that where you can zoom to 400% if you wish.

@DrewDad,
Thanks DrewDad. I have that at work and just discovered it a week or so ago. Very helpful. I probably need to update my IE to 07 then. (No idea what I have, but I know I don't have that cool tool here at home.)

@nimh,
didn't realize firefox had this cool feature. thanks nimh. I don't know why squinney doesn't switch to firefox, I love it. I still would prefer just an arial font here though.

@Region Philbis,
Hurray!

Thank you to whichever hamster missed lunch to add the font size choice. You're the best!

And, thank you to RP for bringing it to my attention.
