I know technicly it was a series on HBO but was realeased on DVD so it's like 1 long movie following Easy Company in the 101st ABN through WWII. I watched this with my wifes grandfather who was ABN in WWII and he cried at the end said it reminded him of too much pain I found it...realistic and interesting. He and I get along for obvious reasons lol
I watched the series and it was very sad.
My son requested this series as a Christmas present the year it was released. We loved it on HBO, as the 'scenes' were interspersed with interviews of the actual men portrayed, and other service personnel from the war.
I hope we never forget the sacrifices of those wonderful young men.
Beautifully made.
My uncle died in that war, so it was interesting to watch. Sad, but interesting.
