Noddy hospital status
It is not clear when Noddy will be out of the hospital.

Noddy is back in critical care. (a step below Intensive care in seriousness).

This morning the medical team realized Noddy had a perforated intestine. [1] She's in surgery now, or will be after they re-inflate the re-collapsed lung.

I don't know why her lung collapsed today. The last time, we suspect it was a side effect of either the cardiac cath or the port [3]

I don't know why her intestine perforated. It may have happened yesterday afternoon when her blood presure dropped suddenly. Odds are good that Crhon's is the root cause.

She is not in condidtion to recieve visitors. Cards would be fine.

I'll post status when there is free time and more information or monday evening, which ever comes first.

Geez--I just found this thread.

It is a sign of Noddy's strength of character that she has been able to cope in the face of all her medical problems. Not surprising, just amazing.

Noddy, your quips, often literary, are sorely missed. We need them and we need and love you.

Omacneil, many thanks for your updates. By now, i'm sure you realize just how loved your mom is. We have come to rely on her sense of humor and, sometimes, sardonic wit. Can you tell us how Mr. Noddy is doing? This must be a huge change for him to cope with.
