Negative review
Of course I haven't seen it yet but, Nolan did an excellent job on batman begins I don't see any reason why he would stray. I have seen previews as long as six minutes and was in awe.

David Edelstein was not the only top critic who disliked the film, David Denby of The New Yorker also gave it a bad review. The Rotten Tomato compilation of the critics gives it an 86%. You'll find that because there are critics who just don't like superhero comic book flicks, the same naysayers show up. The film was not made for younger audiences and is far darker than the original comic books source. I have read most of the reviews and I think the critics who give it good reviews like it for the right reasons, and the reviewers who gave it a bad review dislike it for the wrong reasons.
