"Jay Black" - Of Jay & The Americans. Real name: Dave Blatt. He changed it professionally when he took over for the original lead singer of the group, John Traynor, who also was not actually named Jay either.

Nineteen Meyers (fictional character in a book by Max Schulman “Has Anybody Got a Match” satire of a big State University and University Football team, the coach’s nickname refers to his neck size. Nineteen was a laughable size back in the early 60’s, maybe not as much anymore)
