@OnTheFritz,
Frank Thomas - baseball player, NY Mets 1962 Power hitter.
His personal preference, believe it or not, was to be a steward on an airliner.

@OnTheFritz,
Frank Sinatra
On one of my trips to Cuba, we visited the Nacional Hotel where Frank Sinatra used to stay. His room was next door to the mafia's offices.
His connection to the mafia was not of any concern for me. I just enjoyed his style of singing. Even enjoyed some of his movies.

@edgarblythe,
Ernest N. My father's name.
Ernest Hemingway. Have visited his home in Cuba.
There's a bar called "Floridita" in Havana with a bronze statue of Ernest Hemingway sitting at the end of the bar where many people take pictures with him. He used to frequent this bar, but there are several places in Cuba well known for Hemingway's frequent visits.

BTW, Obispo Street is a major street in Havana with many shops and restaurants.

@Blickers,
Just read about "Nisei bar," located not far from Wrigley Field. It's one of the oldest bars in that area, and has a good history of people who frequented that bar. On my first time residence in Chicago, my hotel room was not far from Wrigley Field on Grove Street. On my second time residence, I worked on Grove Street not far from Wrigley Field. On my third time residence in Chicago, I lived on Wilson with the son of the owner of Honolulu Harry's Hawaiian Night Club. My last residence in Illinois was in Naperville when I worked for Florsheim Shoe Company. My office was across the street from Union Station.
