(Fictional character apparently used by many authors. In almost every British novel I read, somebody sometime is going to Victoria Station. I'm thinking, "In the world of fiction, this chick really gets around".)

I'd laugh or maybe even allow a slight chortle if that joke wasn't staler than the bread you left on the countertop last August.
(for the truly uninformed, Victoria Station is a train station somewhere in jolly old London) {again, I must ask is London really jolly or have we all been mislead}
