Hi everyone maybe someone will be able to help me !
When I forward a contact from outlook 2003 to a user out of my network on outlook 2000 the contact attachment appears as a .msg file and you cannot just save it to your contacts.........hmmmmmm ...... is there another way of saving these contacts without copy and pasting loads of data?
was wondering how it works between different email clients as well, for example if i send contacts from outlook to lotus notes etc etc...
any help would be super wicked .

Hmm you can save it as a .txt file but you'd still have to paste into a new contact. There are ways to save Outlook calendar into Excel and then pull it back again. It appears there's something similar in Contacts.
Go to File>Import and Export and follow directions, see if that's any good.
thanks for ya answer but it would be simpler to copy and paste from the .msg file which is what i'm trying to avoid, specially if I have a few.

When a contact is selected you can forward it as a vCard (which is supported by most email clients) from the actions menu.
nice one robert that seems to work for email clients that arn't the same for forwarding contacts !
cheers
Thanks for finding the more elegant solution, Rob.
