Mine coming soon - I promise.

Mine is too lengthy to publish and I've really never made a list. I am gradually getting rid of the VHS for DVD's. Some of the titles:

Dark City
Blade Runner
On the Waterfront
Citizen Kane
Amadeus
Woman in the Dunes
Night of the Shooting Stars
A Clockwork Orange
2001: A Space Odyssey
The Lord of the Rings, Parts I and II

and my favorites of the James Bond films

None, which works rather well, since I also don't own a television.

But Kurosawa never made a film entitled "Raq." There was a film "Raqtime,"....er "Ragtime."

I see you've been moved over to Film from TV -- probalby good for the thread.

Others in my DVD collection:

ET (the new version) -- really because company always likes that one.

Manhattan (Woody Allen's best movie)

The Fifth Element (for the Blue Diva with Windex for blood and the other satirical touches that many seem to miss.

Actually TV, the entire "The Avengers" set -- Diana Rigg rules!

Star Trek: Nemisis (haven't actually played that one but got a great price on it.

The Hudsucker Proxy (Tim Robbins best comedic performance aside from "Bull Durham" and a real hoot of a film, but what do you expect from the Coen Brothers. And a great score with Khatchuturian's "Spartacus" love theme permeating the soundtrack).

350 DVD's, 4 VHS tapes, 1 TV.

Watched em once, then put on a shelf for a rainy day.
Haven't watched one in about a year.

We only have one, a high def 46" and the programming coming through is really good, especially PBS. The movies look great on HBO and SHOWTIME and since I connected my DVD progressive scan player up to the three cable component input (one for each color), the DVD picture is breathtaking even at 475 to 525 dpi.
