A third computer between my comuter and a server

I wonder if there is a way to put a third computer between two others and they can communicate through the third one Shocked . Suppose, I have some Client-Server aplications which makes it necessary for both to see one another. Also Suppose I have full access to the client and the joining computer & not to the server, and also know the communicating ports needed for the applications to work. Crying or Very sad Question

Sure there is a way. I'm not sure if i know the way that works for what you want to do but I do think you need to explain it a bit better for those who will know what to do.

A hub will link all three assuming you have NICs in all computers and you configure your network appropriately.

M.D. What you describe is exactly what both a router and a proxy server do. Both are computers so the basic answer here is "Yes, it can be done.". Of course both the router and proxy server have specific applications running for that purpose. An out-of-the-box PC won't have that type of capability but it could be made to function in the same way.

It is also how most messangers work. It's actually not hard to configure using both linux or windows.
