I Have a Medion 8830 computer with 2gh of ram.Is it possible to up the ram too 3 gh? on this machine

It looks fairly standard, so I would tentatively say yes. Worst case scenario: return the RAM for full money back.

You should open up your box to see how many slots are left. If there's one free, you can just add a 1Gb stick. If there's only 2 and they're full, you'll need to buy a 2 Gb stick.
