Yes he speaks ten languages, but I don´t know all of them.
German, which is his mother-tongue
Italian as it is the state language in the Vatikan
English he has to know and probably started learning it at school
Spanish is important as it is the most common language spoken by Catholics
French - probably also a language he started to learn at school and it is a very important language for the parts of Africa also parts of East Europe and ME.
Latin he can speak fluently but is of no significance for communication within the church

I don't know all the ten languages either - but additionally to those mentioned above, the Pope can read (and perhaps speak as well) classical Greek (learned that at school) and Hebrew (learned that at the seminary).

And Bavarian dialect. :wink:

Saw someplace he speaks Dutsh too and with Bavarian dialect it makes 11.

Im sorry but Does anyone Not notice how incredibly EVIL the pope appears in EVERY photograph? Im Now convinced that the pope is infact the devil....Which in an odd way makes him cool and likeable.....

The Pope is an old man, a professor, who has written several books, who is interested in music. He is highly regarded for his deep knowledge in theology. There has never been any words about him being evil exept from you.

I like the red Prada shoes he wears most often.
