What the heck is an Ikthus?

The fish is the symbol of early Christians. Ikthus in Greek.

It's an acronym for Jesus, God's son, savior.

In Greek (or perhaps Hebrew) the letters each start a word for Christ, or something like that.

Actually that's the first thing on this thread I did kind of chuckle at - the 'Jesus did it for the chicks' thing.
The words are funny - but the picture with the words go a little bit over the edge....I mean would anyone go THAT far for chicks? I think they should have had a picture of him at the wedding in Canaan with those words -where he turned the water into wine- THAT would have been kind of funny and not as sick and twisted.

I think the 'Jesus Saves' hockey player is good though...that'd appeal to the sportsminded wannabe believers.

I think Jesus bashers are just jealous- HOW CAN YOU BASH SOMEONE LIKE JESUS?

I think Jesus bashers just wish they could perform and believe in miracles too - but they can't- so this is how they vent their envy and frustration. Have you noticed that they're almost all guys? (On this thread anyway) . Probably has something to do with performance issues.

This one is pretty funny. Although I'm not Catholic - so I don't worship the Virgin Mary so I apologize to anyone in advance who's offended.
