I read the previous question on where should this file be sent to , but I am unable to find the windows/system32 directory file, where is it located? please help.

the directory windows\system32 is located on drive C usually. Thus its full path is:

C:\windows\system32

If it is hidden you may have a virus or spyware infection. However you may simply be typing its name and path wrongly. The slashes are back slashes like this \ not forward slashes as you have typed in your last post.

I know of no real-world cases of viruses or malware that hides the Windows directory but Windows itself does and usually it is hidden by default.

To un-hide (in explorer):

Tools > Options > "View" tab > Files and Folders > Hidden Files and Folders > Show hidden files and folders.

You can cut and paste this into the address bar of Windows file explorer to go to the folder you are looking for:

%windir%\system32
