I happen to know Tabby's Delight - it is about 25 miles northwest of Baltimore, not far past Reisterstown. It is neither a City nor a Town, but rather the colloquial name of a place (road intersection and associated real estate development.) In short a named place , but not an incorporated city or town with any form of local governance, apart from the local county.

Francis is to be congratuated for his ability to quickly come up with picturesque names of places here . However they are not cities or towns in the sense that I believe most people here are using the term.

Unalaska, Alaska (who comes up with that?!)

Wow, fun fact to know and shout! I'd give it to him, george. He's not even from here!

It is generally unwise to give a Frenchman and even break. I think that is particularly true in Francis' case. If he was Irish I would reconsider.

I'd rather to have an even break that to be Irish. Twisted Evil

Ampere, California.

(This is a city, with some current going on).

An unwise choice -- being Irish gets you a lifetime of even (or better) breaks. But you might not know that. (However, wasn't there a stock French cartoon character loosely based on the Celt leader Vercingetorix ? -- there may be some hope for you.)

The resort to mere wordplay and current events in Ampere was cute but probably in character for a French fan of Tabby's Delight.

However, there are no current events in Ampere - merely a hot and dusty spot on the road north of Stockton.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Concord, California. A pleasant suburban town about 30 miles west of Ampere, and 2,743 miles West of Tabby's Delight.
