I'll leave LONGLEAT to Eve, meaning perhaps encouraging renovation and decoration.

Let's all see a good new EXHIBITION
Well, I liked it. I especially liked 'she was described as a bowl in a china shop'!

Get a Readymeal, grow a 'normous tummy- unnecessary additional NOURISHMENT
McTag, your earlier post replying to spendius reminded me of a song that may be applicable. Here's a link to the lyrics:

NOURISHMENT
NOONTIME our usual ration is some hot meat, eggs 'n' taters.
Well thank you Fritzie, I've learned something new today. The Asshole song.
For the benefit of foreigners not totally familiar with British English, a "git" or "get" is a misbegotten child, one born out of wedlock, of doubtful parentage (with inference of being unwanted and/or rejected), a lowly unfavoured waif, a bastard. With apologies to any of them here.
Thanks, McT. Now I know what a "git" is. I read that article you linked to, but it was no surprise. I've never seen so many misspelled and misused words in my life as I have since I got on the internet, and not just from casual posters but people who should know better. It's discouraging.
I'm not perfect but I keep an old Encarta CD in a drive and use the dictionary half a dozen times a day to make sure of my spelling and/or usage.
NOONTIME
Newspapers offer onomatology nursery treatments in mediocre ENTERTAINMENTS.
McTag, I don't know what I was thinking when I posted a link to the lyrics instead of the actual song. Here is that link. It's down at the bottom of the 1991 page. Neil Rogers is a south Florida talk radio host who's pretty funny. It's mostly local humor, but you may recognize some of the song parodies scattered over the dozen pages.
