@Dutchy,
I realised that Dutch after I posted and I did think I should edit it away in order to show you the respect I know is your due but, on considering the matter, it struck me that my acronym was quite good and gamesters should not be deprived of the opportunity to meditate upon its subtle message, and that you, being such a gentleman, would agree with me and thus understand my reason for adopting the course I chose.

What had happened to provide you with the chance to get in before me was that I had spent 20 minutes or more with the thesaurus to try to find the best solution to the "ES". I could easily have done the "ES" in a jiffy had I not been bothered about the outcome. It was an opportunity to allude to the fact that the amount of female flesh exposed to public view is directly proportional to the enfeeblement of the spectators. Which nicely fitted into aidan's lapdancing scenario. (Which perhaps signaled an urge to have a go at it.) And also provided something of a justification for the Puritan agenda and the veils it enjoined what with enfeebled men having no capacity to discover Australia on the other side of the earth and being much more suited to running up teenage trillion dollar debts which is so easy to do that I dare say I could do it myself single-handedly even in my enfeebled state. I wouldn't need a mighty army of bureaucrats and advisers to manage a simple thing like that.

I'm not daft enough to think liberals would have liked it.

And, anyway, you have perhaps forgotten, which is not a suprise considering your recent tribulations, that I made a new rule a while ago that granted permission for a player to be pipped and post if they considered their acronym with satisfaction. Which I did in this case.

I never fail to pay careful attention to this thread.

And I provided an alternative to SLEEPLESSNESS for those who might find 4 "E"s and 5 "S"s a bit daunting.

Knock it off, spendi. you don't get to make up your own "new rules." When you're pipped, you're pipped, and, when you're aware that's happened, you should try to delete your post, if you can, just so the flow of the thread isn't disrupted.
Dutchy beat you to the punch by 20 minutes, that one wasn't even a close call.

Liberals inevitably moan everytime learned INTELLECTUALS generate high-class tropes.

*I knew you wouldn't like my solution to LAPDANCES and would get on your high horse about it with some paltry pretext for an excuse. You prefer enfeebled men don't you? You're a right little old-fashioned stick-in-the-mud conservative when you object to minor revisions which are a benefit to the community. Nobody objected to my proposal at the time and I think one or two approved of it.

Are you suggesting that a player who works on an acronym for an hour or two attempting perfection is to be blotted out by a load of incoherent bilge composed off the cuff in a minute? A dumbing down procedure.

Did you know that the knickerless can-can was once performed in Paris and the spectators became so enfeebled that the riot squad was called out.

SHOWMANSHIP

Since Harriet outraged WORKMEN manning a night shift Harry's introduced purdah.

*Sheesh! My explanation readily admitted that Dutch had pipped me. I know why you didn't like that acronym. It hinted at something you daren't face up to. That women might find that they didn't really want the vote after all and they were only having a bit of a lark to see just how far they could go with the college majors. Like a dare.

Which has turned out to be the workhouse. A pretty workhouse, mostly, I'll admit. And realising that women in the workforce lower men's wages and that their husbands would be getting twice as much if they stayed at home, and working longer hours, it is dawning on them that they were given the vote in order to get them to pull their weight, make men's lives easier, at least in some respects, and work for nothing.

And we mechanised all the **** shifting to enable women to manage most jobs.

Neat eh? The quick-witted invested in pharmaceutical companies.

WORKMEN.
