@vonny,
That was excellent vonny. It is true. I might have used "comprehensive". Or "cynical". But is excellent. "Complex" is okay. In some ways it is better.

@spendius,
vonny, you are doing just fine. It's not really a competitive game--I'm not competing with anyone here, I'm just trying to exercise my brain. Spendius and I have been doing this for years and years, so it may come a little easier for us, but just hang in there, it will get easier for you too. It's just like the License Plate game, but with more letters to put into a sentence, so it's more challenging, and fun.

@spendius,
What a wonderful trick, among many others, Jane Austen produced when having created Lady Bertram's character as she does, and then have her actually run, "no indolent step" was the phrase, how pretty is that, to greet Fanny, when she returns from three months away from Mansfield Park, and falls upon her neck.

It couldn't be done in a movie.

I have an edition with drawings by a Hugh Thomson which really brings the book to life. It only cost me £2.

DELUGED.

@vonny,
That's a lovely one vonny. I assume you mean formal education. You deserve to be Minister of Education for that.

We should call this thread DAYDREAMERS. We get to play little scenes which those who simply read them once don't get to participate in. I was experiencing my first eagerly bestowed kiss in the grass on Wenlock Edge of a warm summer's evening with the church bells a-ringing, to call decent folk to their praying and singing.

DAYDREAMERS.
