@spendius,
okay - I have a serious question - I don't have a dictionary at my disposal right now and I'd like to know if there really is a word: syncophant...because I know that I've read it before and I always thought I knew how to spell it and what it meant - but now I'm thinking maybe it's just a bastardized form of sycophant which DOES seem to be the more accepted form of the word (meaning the same thing). This is what I found on google - but it doesn't definitively address my question in my mind. I trust you guys in terms of vocabulary and certainly in terms of spelling (I do know my spelling is weaker than most all of the regulars on this thread).

Quote:
1. syncophant n. A person who enthusiastically toes the party line. A combination of "synch" and "sycophant."
A million syncophants blindly repeating the GOP's talking points make me sick to my stomach.

2. syncophant 7 up, 14 down
A misspelling of the word "sycophant" used by ignorant ghetto people and neocon morons.
I have enclosed a definition of a particular word. Look at it
carefully. You are a syncophant -- I'm not.

NURDLING (that's not a real word - I know that for sure)

Nobody understood RAPHAEL's doodling, labeling it, 'no good'.
