I'll not boo that one. I might have said "London's establishment" because everybody knows London is in England. Everybody on A2K I mean.

But you forgot your manners in your flush of excitement. I had said that the pipper had precedence. Especially with almost a 4 hour pipping.

You should have put BOUNCED at the end. Clary had agreed.

So--BOUNCED. Anybody who does miffs is a member of the awkward squad.

You're even out of order under the rules Clary had originally laid down and stressed so often.

Boy- are you in for it if she catches up with you.

BOUNCED.

I'll not boo that one. I might have said "London's establishment" because everybody knows London is in England. Everybody on A2K I mean.

There are also Americans on A2K, as well as at least a dozen American cities called "London." Besides, I like when the letters fall that way.

But you forgot your manners in your flush of excitement. I had said that the pipper had precedence. Especially with almost a 4 hour pipping.

You misunderstood what happened, Spendi. It had nothing to do with manners, and I wasn't trying to practice the new pipping rule. I got mixed up (which isn't difficult to do under the new rule, with which, nevertheless, I still don't disagree). You gave "automobile" as the chosen word. I worked it and gave "maddens" as the next chosen word. Clary worked that and gave "automobiles" as her chosen word. I didn't notice that it was plural and therefore saw it as the same word you had given and I had worked. So I thought it would be funny to do the same acro again, changing only one word. Meanwhile, you worked "maddens" and then "automobiles" (both of which had been done before) and it just got too confusing for my poor little American pea brain.

You should have put BOUNCED at the end.

Absolutely (although I don't know what you mean by "at the end). Nevertheless, I apologize.
Clary had agreed.

I don't know what this means. I'll have to search the thread and see if I can figure it out. Is this by any chance a reference to our conversation about Clary and the rules yesterday? Smile

So--BOUNCED. Anybody who does miffs is a member of the awkward squad.

P.S. I hope I don't throw anyone's life into total disarray by not doing an acro now. Laughing
