EVANGELINE

Elodie viewed Andrew's new, garish extravagances listlessly. IMPRESSED? Not exactly.

Spendius- you gave me such a laugh mentioning "foundation garments". I'd forgotten all about those, but when we were little girls and one of our chores was to fold the laundry- my sisters and I'd dress up in my mom's bras and girdles (all her foundation garments) and giggle up a storm.

I tried to edit my entry with the following, but the system informed me that I couldn't edit a post that had already been replied to. I apologize, Aidan, and must say that it was darn nice of you to use my chosen word under the circumstances.

"Dagnabbit! While I was working on my acro, Aidan trumped me. I won't withdraw mine, because I hate to trash it after working so diligently on it, but I will withdraw my chosen word in favor of Aidan's. He's entitled to it.
Anyway...his acro was better than mine.

"As far as the evil Spendius is concerned, even though the hyphenated version of foundation garment was a HUGE CHEAT, I got a kick out of it, too. When I was little, I also used to fold the laundry...alone unfortunately, because my brother was exempt. My big yuk was putting the underpants on my head."

Where's Mathos when we really need him to yell at me for mucking up the game?!
