Lee- No. I was only kidding. We specialise in a certain attenuated vulgarity as you divined. Some of us are averse to XYZ though.

Question Question

Got it. Smile What do you mean by "XYZ," though?

INNOCENT

In Nigeria, no ORANGUTAN can ever neutralize testosterone.

Stop the presses! I think I know what you mean by "XYZ." I wasn't taking it literally enough. You don't like the actual letters "X," "Y" or "Z" in the word you're given, yeah?

That's right.

The trick is to allow, encourage even, the next player to have the widest possible freedom, not the least. A decent dictionary and a thesaurus comes in handy.

There used to be a lot more players on here than there is now so you are very welcome Lee.

A lot of ladies have fallen by the wayside. Falling by the wayside is a lady thing I think.

Clary is the only one left and she hasn't been on for a bit but she has the travel bug so she might be off gallivanting.

Mordant vulgarity is my style with some gentle teasing of the opposite sex. I'm trying to get them to tease me back.

Play it for laughs. If you get something that makes you laugh there's a fair chance it will make us laugh. Belly laughs are best.

It isn't done to correct any spelling mistakes in the WORD. You just do it as it stands. Only girl's blouses like Mathos get all flustered about spelling mistakes.

ORANGUTAN

Osteopaths regard aching necks greedily, UNDERSTANDING they are numismatic.

That's not very vulgar but it's mildly mordant.

1. Thank you for welcoming me, and thank you for your guidance and advice.

2. I don't agree that falling by the wayside is a lady thing. I'm a lady, but I don't tend to fall by the wayside if something interests me and I feel that I'm doing well at it. Also, I know many ladies who have participated in certain games and on certain message boards for many years. My acros will never be nearly as brilliant as yours, but I'll do the best I can. I have computer and workload issues right now, so these two things might explain temporary absences on my part.

3. Girl's blouses. LOL! I'm one, too. Razz

4. Why is it that in some of the posts there's an underlined green word (a link?), which may or may not be the acro word?

5. My next acro is a bit vulgar but not too much so, I hope...and it's definitely not mordant.

UNDERSTANDING

Undressing Natasha, Dmitri's EXCITEMENT rose. Sexy tushies and nipples drove 'is noodle's growth.

Don't get over cocky sunshine, or I'll be tempted to shake you about like a rag doll! Dickhead!

Welcome Lee! I need to ask you dear, are you totally bloody stupid? Spendius went to a great deal of trouble, as thick as he is, to advise you that the letters ; X Y & Z were not appreciated, common sense tells you, it's not practical and you are very limited in how you deal with them!

One of the first word you do after being advised is:- EXcitement

I think at times, the Trivia threads is a magnet for members of The Forest Gump family!

EXCITEMENT

Every xenophobic casualty is thoroughly entertaining, even Mathos expects neurotic talent.

NOSTALGIC

Nondescript OBSESSIONS seemed tame after Lenny got into Clarissa's.

Lee- Don't take any notice of Mathos. He's probably under the thumb and he takes it out on us to compensate. We indulge him as a charitable gesture. Dutchy is Australian so you have to make allowances for him. He's okay though and if ever you fancy a backpacking holiday in the outback eating grubs he's your man to conduct you safely along.

!

Apparently you're in no position to be the girl's blouse you aspire to be, Mathos. It's "overly," not "over."

1. What's with the space and the semicolon after "letters?"
2. Where's the comma between "X" and "Y?"
3. Re "appreciated" and "common," why do you connect complete sentences with commas instead of periods?
4. As far as the "X" is concerned, I wasn't thinking, and neither, apparently, do you always make a practice of it.
5. In the sentence below, the colon is unnecessary.
6. In your acro, again two complete sentences are connected by a comma rather than a period.

It's "Forrest," not "Forest." I refer you to your obviously not too handy dictionary, where you will find that a forest is a tract of land covered with trees, not the name of a film character.

Perhaps someday I might visit your glass house. I'm sure it's very attractive.

Nice meetin' ya. Cheers.

That's at least three shits on the fire and you didn't even do the last acronym!

There are pages set aside on the threads for your own egotistical gratification pleasures, along with English, History, and other topics for you to masturbate with!

Once you get completing one with some style and panache, I might listen to your silly meanderings and screechings! Until then, button it!

Spendius Watch it!

A) I'm not the one who needs remedial English.

B) As far as your last crude suggestion is concerned, it looks like you're the one who needs this particular form of relaxation.

We all know what "nonsense" is. We don't need the hyphen.

It's always fun to touch a nerve, even one as strung out as yours.

Cheers.

P.S. I'll do the acros when I have time. I have a life. Sorry if I disturbed your microcosmic world order.

Spendius, I'm being tolerant with you of late, my mood is good. However, you are pushing your luck somewhat. Presently I am supplicating the continuance of your pathetic contributions. No doubt the egg heads on the Spirituality and Religion Threads are getting too much for you. Have they been shooting you down in flames again dear boy? You work a pattern and indeed it manifests itself with candour. However it may be both prudent and corporeal for you to guide your own steps with the principles of moral significance and intellectual facilities, if you possess such worthy attributes. As it is, you are beginning to annoy me, and you know only too well, you do not like it when I become annoyed.
