@alex240101,
Good morning Alex. Not much rain in my neck of the woods...yet. This spring has been so perfect. I am getting used to the 70s and 80s.

Just wanted to say "hey" to ya'll. Not much going on here. I fell asleep on the sofa watching a movie last night. Stumbled into bed by 11-ish. Slept till 7:30 this morning. Another wasted Friday night! I don't know what's wrong with me these days. It just seems that by the time I get my week in on campus, I am so drained. All I wanna do is sleep. I suck.

Later taters! xo

@JustBrooke,
Hey girl...I believe that is just a part of becoming a responsible adult. It sucks I know! Proud of you though. I bet when you are done with school it will get a little better though. How is your dad doing?

Another baseball day and G-baby had his 7yo birthday. Kills me.

I am off to get the house straightened before we head to the ball park...some yucky weather headed our way - but I think we are dodging it until after the games...which is good...makeup games screw up my Sunday nap! Wink

((Izzie))
Hugs to you all...

Hi Miss! Daddy is doing well. We have been blessed as a family. Thank you for asking. Have a good day!

These are various pics over the last couple of months that Noah would like to share with his yabber friends.

Noah normally hates to get his hair cut. He was a real trooper in these pics. I think it might have had something to do with the fact that he got to sit in a little car while they did their chop-chop.

Noah says "yep" I need a hair cut!
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn50/brookesphotos27/haircut1.jpg

So they wrapped this thing around me so I wouldn't get hair all over me and cut my locks off! I didn't wahhhh this time cuz I'm a big boy now.

http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn50/brookesphotos27/haircut2.jpg

Then when they got all done, I looked in the mirror, but I didn't know that kid lookin' back at me. Who is he?? Is that me??? They call this a "better" hair-do?? What's wrong with big people?

http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn50/brookesphotos27/haircut3.jpg

Oh nevermind! I found out that it that it grows back pretty fast! Yipppeee!

http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn50/brookesphotos27/Noah30.jpg

I bet you can't do this!!!!

http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn50/brookesphotos27/Noah34.jpg

Ooops! I toppled over! Ok, ok, OKKKKKkkk ......I like to show off. I did it on purpose.

http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn50/brookesphotos27/Noah35.jpg

I love my thumb - and my thumb loves meeee!!

http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn50/brookesphotos27/Noah33.jpg

I like my new jacket. It helps to hide my hair while it grows back, and I can be all cool again!

http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn50/brookesphotos27/Noah32.jpg

I like St. Pattys day ......minus the green beer!

http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn50/brookesphotos27/Noah31.jpg

This is another hat I use to cover up my do!

http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn50/brookesphotos27/Noah36.jpg

The Easter bunny came to see me!!! I got to sit in a bucket with these chicks. Noooo not "those kinda chicks!" I'm too young for that. I'll leave that job to Dutchy! Give me another year or 2.

http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn50/brookesphotos27/Noah37.jpg

That's all for now yabber friends! Aunt Brookie has homework to do. I still remember all of your prayers when I was born. They helped! Now I'm a healthy little guy that loves you.

~ Noah xo

((Brooke)) Always good to see you here pretty girl.

Oh Izzie - it kills me. Seven is a good age. But I miss my baby. He is off with Gmom and Gdad and his cousin this afternoon. Birthday mission. fun. Smile

We lost both of our games again today. But the boys are such good sports. They did their best - played so well and that is all that matters to them...that and snack afterwards!

((Izzie)) Take care of yourself girly.

Wee, modest, crimson-tippet flo'er
Thou's met me in an evil hour
For I maun crush amang the stoer
Thy slender stem.
To spare thee now is past my pow'r
Thou bonnie gem.

@McTag,
1.
Now spring has clad the grove in green,
And strew'd the lea wi' flowers;
The furrow'd, waving corn is seen
Rejoice in fostering showers;
While ilka thing in nature join
Their sorrows to forego,
O, why thus all alone are mine
The weary steps o' woe!
2.
The trout within yon wimpling burn
Glides swift, a silver dart,
And, safe beneath the shady thorn,
Defies the angler's art:
My life was ance that careless stream,
That wanton trout was I,
But Love wi' unrelenting beam
Has scorch'd my fountains dry.
3.
The little floweret's peaceful lot,
In yonder cliff that grows,
Which save the linnet's flight, I wot,
Nae ruder visit knows,
Was mine, till Love has o'er me past,
And blighted a' my bloom;
And now beneath the withering blast
My youth and joy consume.
4.
The waken'd lav'rock warbling springs,
And climbs the early sky,
Winnowing blythe his dewy wings
In Morning's rosy eye:
As little reck't I Sorrow's power,
Until the flowery snare
O' witching Love in luckless hour
Made me the thrall o' care!
5.
O, had my fate been Greenland snows
Or Afric's burning zone,
Wi' Man and Nature leagu'd my foes,
So Peggy ne'er I'd known!
The wretch, whose doom is ' hope nae mair,'
What tongue his woes can tell,
Within whose bosom, save Despair,
Nae kinder spirits dwell!

Mr. Burns

too much in the head.

Going to bed early my eyes will NOT stay open.

@Barry The Mod,
Hi all, son has left us and is winging home right now, was lovely having him here, not just for the succulent seafood he brought us, LOL

Izzie it was good talking to you, just love your "accent", Laughing Wink

Mismi not you too, you couldn't possibly equal the Captain in her forgetfulness, time the Bosun moved in and jolted your memories. Smile

Harbormaster will you be celebrating Chelsea's League title should they stay on top? The Manchester boys no doubt will hope you trip but the Londson boys deserve their moment of glory I feel. Good luck.

Waves from a cool downunder.
