Ohhhh might as well post this pic from last night. Won't mean much to you guys but this is a pic of me and a good friend of mine who is a tad on the wild and crazy side....that got his hair cut. I still can't get over the change. He had hair as long as mine for as long as I can remember. Kept it in a ponytail, and if you seen a Harley buzzin' past ya, all you had to do was look for that long tail flapping in the breeze, and you knew who it was. Not anymore!! Now, oh I dunno.... he's just got such a baby-face!

Giggle ...giggle...giggle!!! Who is that man now????

@JustBrooke,
Hi crew, nice to see you Brooke, you're looking swell, must be that handsome young man on your arm. Good to know you let your hair down for once, need a break from the books. Best of luck with your studies.

Miss our two wandering blonds in Exeter, wonder what happened to them, ran into some unexpected company? Wink

@Barry The Mod,

Nah mate, was on the hop myself.
Some troubles at t' mill....illness at my cousin's house, and the doctor was in, old person being sent to hospital, all that. So no telly, and the rest of the day was taken up with travelling.

@Dutchy,
Hey Crew

Glad to see you sailing along.

Babbling - you sound happy girlie - you're so beautiful - and that's a cute fella - who is that man now???????????? Wink

BEAgle - how ya doing? Hope you are keeping busy but taking it easy. I printed off the things you sent but haven't had a chance to read yet. I shall tonight tho. Thank you. Hope our babies are still growing and producing.

Letty - hope you are keeping well and that things are good in your world. ((((Letty))))

POMcT - so how was the reunion? Was it good to see folk from way back when? Love those stripey "Belties" - they almost look like those black and white licorice allsorts. Hoping the old person who was sent to hospital is feeling better - hmmm - hoping all is well there. Love to you and FiB.

Bazza - txt you earlier - have borrowed the neighbours laptop so no worries about posting. Have a good evening at work tonight.

Missy - there's your sunshine smile - hope you are alright and that the weekend was good - how'd the boyz games go? You're prolly at work now, so will try and catchup with you later. Haven't heard about twisters but will take a look on the news and see what's been happening. Love you Mis.

((Blue))xox

As I said, no laptop so having to borrow one again. Been out in the garden, sitting by the river thisavo, quiet, warm in the sun - mowed the lawn and did some bits and pieces. Work's very busy, everything else is just the same and I'm tired. Will be back when I'm able so hope this ship'll keep sailing.

'til then, lovin' youze and y'all take good care. x

@Dutchy,
Hey Dear Dutchy,

They were close - but we missed it thankfully - got the nasty weather but no twisters close to my home. Yazoo City - in Mississippi got it really badly.

Hi Izzie - well...worked part of the day. I have the kids end of the year program tonight and I am a bit nervous about that - rehearsal today was a bit chaotic.

Hey there Verbs...hugs to you and little H. That sure is a sweet boy - but I know you have your hands full.

Hugs to all the crew

@mismi,
Morning mismi, glad they missed you, always think about you when I see them freak storms on TV.

Izzie we followed a similar path yesterday, I also cut my lawns and sat in the lovely afternoon sun on my patio with my feet up, no babbling creek near me though.

verbivore sorry about the bad connection you're having, has Eby paid the bill? Smile

@verbivore,
Morning crew and Hi Verbs.Penny O'Hamster is a little cuddly children's toy that is zig-zagging her way around the world by Post.Photos are taken to prove where she's been.She originated in the States,has been to various places including the UK.She was posted to The Captain who showed her around the south west of England (lots of pics were posted at the time),and it coincided with the Captain's second trip to London with me which is where I had the pleasure of giving Penny a tickle under the chin.We took her to the center of London and introduced her to loadsa' people who just loved her,even these two Special cops....
http://i1001.photobucket.com/albums/af138/barrythemod/London/Ncops.jpg

I've told Penny that I'm off to India in August.Maybe she'll arrive in the post in time to join me and,maybe,meet you and your gang.Fingers crossed.I'll e-mail you more pics of Penny in London.

McT,a great big crane arrived in Greenwich on Monday and has started erecting a huge scaffolding over what remains of Cutty Sark.so work continues.

Oh,look at the time! Soooooooooo much to do!!!!!!!!!
Very big waves to crew.
Gotta go.

And on the news this morning (watch your BBC news this evening, it's quite funny this) they are re-introducing wild cranes to the Somerset wetlands. Eggs have been brought from Germany, are hatching, and the chicks are being carefully reared by hand.

(edit) here it is. Watch out for mummy with the spoon.

@McTag,

Apologies, I think that anyone who is unfortunate enough to be living outside of this country cannot receive BBC video.

Wild cranes make their return to south-west of England
and after the ad - goes black.

Hello Yabber Crew

@McTag,
Hi McTag and crew. Was certainly be able to watch that remarkable video downunder, springtime has arrived.

Well we're heading into winter, lit fire first time last night, was a cool 16 degrees with rain, much rather prefer around 30 degreees.

mismi, great to hear you and the boys are enjoying baseball. Not being played here so don't really know what is the attraction?

I was brought up following the round ball game but now follow Australian football, which would have to be the toughest of them all, and that includes Rugby. Did you hear that Izzie Smile

Have a great day.

@Dutchy,
Listen to Dutchy talking "smack" - go on with your bad self...

I love baseball. Probably because I understand it. I love American football as well...I like LOOKING at football players (soccer) - Smile I don't get cricket at all...but I think it looks like fun. You have a ball...you hit it...and run - so far I can keep up with it.

((Dutchy)) stay warm
