ran out of hours of again - been driving fast - it's the most beautiful nite - stars are bright and the moon is too stunning for words - a few whispy clouds - makes for a gorgeous nite to drive.
Not much sleep going on... work in a few hours - hey ho - one shot!

talking of apples... I should be climbing the apples and pears. Ahhhhh... extension of hours would be greatly appreicated.

Beautiful day - sun is splitting the trees. blue skies, autumnal colours all around...
ooops.... I meant to eat an apple this morning and then forgot all about it (who, me?). I picked up four different kinds at the farmer's market on Saturday. YUM, I love crisp, fresh-picked apples.
Congrats to F-boy, tulip. You're right to be proud.
Spring, dutchy? No --- unfortunately we're gearing up for winter. I'm not nearly ready. The leaves have just begun to turn here but they're forecasting low temps in the upper 20s (-2C) on Sunday with a mix of rain and sn... sn... sn... SNOW. IT'S ONLY EARLY OCTOBER!!!!!

Ohhh---- Joshua Bell was the soloist at CSO last night. He didn't play this piece but I like it all the same.

Didn't get home 'til late - decided to pick up my lens, such a splendid day, the colours are so vibrant - needed some peace - went off solo, pottering here and there... back... no card in camera! Not that it matters any. Snapped a little in the garden to appease myself some more.
I'm home...I was a substitute teacher today...it was SUPPOSE to be my day off (wel one of them). I am so tired I cannot see straight.
Oh Gosh JPB...it is starting early for you! It is hot as hades down here. Yuck...and I have sand in my shoes still...going to go get that out of there and get my diet Coke (nope not going to stop that today) and sit for a minute.

I told the boys I would finish decorating for Halloween tonight and we have kids coming to spend the night tomorrow night so I probably will be off of this thing more than on it until - well - maybe this weekend...depends on the Prof and how much he wants to be here verses the television. Rest up Miss Missy! I know that "pooped" feeling though. I pulled an all-nighter last night. That's pretty scary -- considering I haven't been back on campus all that long. I hope that's not a precursor of how this year is going to go. Anyhoo ..... trying really hard not to go to sleep this early.

Hey Dutchy - well...I have to run my legs off - I have three busy little boys. We had a game I forgot about tonight...so I rushed them all and got them there...it is nasty hot down here...lots of skeeters. Yuck.
