@McTag,
Hey Hey Crew
Blowing an absolute hooley " driving rain " big, huge, thick coat and scarf, camera at the ready...
and
TRY TRY TRY TRY TRY
They took the advantage, a few dummy runs, mixed in with some mauls and mucho scrums, line outs, over the top with the occasional knock on (they’re just little rugger lads, ref's judgement , play on

) penalty kicks, passing... over to the left, to the wing,
to the wing....
TO THE WING.... wing man passes back (generous little fella as he is

) and ANOTHER TRY!
FABULOUS " they did so well " THEY WON!
46 - 0
What a great match!
S-boy has a reputation already for being
the tackler of the squad - no-one quite knows how he does it " he nails his opponent and slams down (can you imagine) " his team mates were so funny " they kept congratulating him on “not” taking the opposition out too hard this week " so good to see kids playing sport and have so much team spirit. S-boy is not a glory boy " he’s such a team player " that's so good to see. He just looked so happy out there. He get’s very excited as the ball is coming towards him and kinda dances a wee bit as he realises it's coming to him " needs to get a little more confidence in his ability " then he’ll settle - makes I smile! HE’S GREAT. He set the last try up fantastically " and everyone was just yelling “well done S” to him " ahhhhhh.... so nice to watch and see him shining. His Mom
is very proud of him.
We got wet and wildly windswept " his school is very remote and it’s pretty bleak out there when the weather comes in hard " but the kids were amazing and played their hearts out.
We had company. G-daughter is a rugby player. Not just a rugby player " an excellent rugby player. She was very encouraging to S-boy and took lots of photos of him and calling to him on where to position; G was cheering on, S-boys Dad was cheering on, we were all cheering on and they were lovin’ it. Got some pics to put up a little later if I can get organised.
So weird. This was the first time we all spent time together " and it was all just tickety boo. I never quite know what is going to happen next with G-daughter, ha, or G for that matter, which is not entirely comfortable for me " after yesterday’s and previous fiasco’s... well, the turn-around is just quite bizarre. Went for a pub lunch after and ... it was lovely. Home and cups of tea and just... NORMAL. Lots of merriment. Really, it was lovely.
Then Tulip came over for a cuppa and a quick chat - F-boy is staying here the nite " the boyz are wii’ing right now

and Tulip has gone home to paint another wall
It’s been such a nice day. I’ve got the wind in my sails and I’m riding another wave!
<weather is still horribly miserable... did the UK miss Autumn and go straight to winter?>
Smiling big
((((((((((JPB)))))))))) - yep girl - e me or mebbe talk on the phone later if you're around? The sun will rise... everra day gal. xx
McT - ha - can you imagine how very excited I would get going sailing for real - I had a long talk with Captain Colin - he was asking whether I could do knots, how well I would manage going below deck and walking onboard - I said I'm willing to give anything a go and, tho I might not be able to do as much as someone else, I'd do as much as I could. Little fella can come too and I may even have persuaded Tulip to come with us - would be great if it happens this year but he's gonna be mooring up soon - we're running out of weather and she goes into dry dock until Easter! Finger's crossed - ha - I could end up back in Ireland if I'm at the helm
