@McTag,
Ha McT - if it was G-MaMa doing the "cast on" teaching - then FionaB will be set for life Very Happy

Guess what?

My BLACK KITTY CAME HOME.

I walked in around 3pm-ish and he came running down the stairs and smooched. LOVE MY BLACK BOY! Verra happy he's home - I did trawl the neighbours and no-one had seen him in days - I guess he's decided he doesn't like me going away and leaving him Razz

I'm zonked - must go rest for a bit - I'm running on empty.

Hugs and love.... Hugs and love xx

Your weekend trip was fun to read about, Izzie, but I had been waiting all day to hear about your lost cat. I am glad the cat decided to forgive you. Smile

@wandeljw,
Hey ((((jw))))

me too also! I wonder if he goes looking for me... or he's found someone else to love him whilst I'm away, I don't think so tho. He's a real MaMa's Boy and he doesn't take to strangers, unlike Murphy, who is a complete and utter tart and will snuggle up around anyone for a bit of TLC - he's all fur and chirruping mews, he purr-sings constantly Razz Kitty Cat kinda keeps himself to himself and is the strong and silent fella out of the two - so could be he just goes off until he knows I'm home. He's been sprawled out across me whilst I was resting and is following me around now not letting me out of his sight. He does love his MaMa Very Happy

So pleased he's back - he does worry me when he goes off.

As for the dawgs - well Maddie is just a little heap, she's a total floosy and craves every bit of attention - but Scooby is getting to be a poor 'ole boy - all cranky and creaky - his 'ole bones bother him, except for when he's herding Maddie up - then he thinks he's a puppy and struggles to stand up after he's been in sheepdawg mode. Poor 'ole fella - he can't even get in the car anymore.

I tell ya - it's a blooming menagerie here!

How are you jw... and how is wee Annie and the big kids? How is she enjoying school? I did see CJ's thread and read about her learning Chinese - clever wee gal you got yourself there - beautiful pic... love her smile - she is a princess. All going well in your world?

OK - I gotta go get some fuel - my tummy is cranky too. Gonna try and get to look at my Eire pics later on - still haven't got round to doing that with one thing and another, leave alone catching up on what's been going on around the threads and need to go out in a bit. That time thing.... not enough of it and I'm oh so verra tarrrrd. <yawn>

Tulip - if you get online - have been leaving you messages all over the place - how you doing gal???????? Will have mobile signal a little later so call me if you wanna/can talk - if not, will call you again tomorrow. Hoping you are feeling MUCH better and all is OK. xx

@Izzie,
Thanks, Izzie. All is going well. Annie is a smart little girl and doing well in school. My three adult children are working and happy with their jobs. Katrina is working for a different television drama series now. The one she had been working on was cancelled (the television business requires you to change jobs often).

Oh Dj - lovin' that beige... it's so warm. Looks like the sun is setting on it. GORGEOUS! <if you fancy popping over and working on a project over here, my lounge needs a makeover... I'll provide tea and biscuits and promise not talk incessantly>

<actually, all rooms except mine need a makeover.... ya know, if you have a spare minute or two... or month ... or two> Wink

Now... most importantly, how are you feeling? Are you all better now? huh huh huh?

@djjd62,
Morning crew wherever you are. Just read miss sunshine's post and thinking you've got to much hay on your fork mismi. No wonder you're feeling flat with so much to do, slow down a little, there is always tomorrow. We can't all be like Izzie, she seems to run at full bore all day/night long. Smile

djjd, you're doing a fantastic paint job going by that photo, clearly shows the difference, should look a1 by the time you finish.

Happy to know your kitten is back Izzie, they always do to a home where they are loved and cared for. This "Tom" cat always does as he receives plenty of TLC from Mrs. Beagle. Laughing

Have a great day all.

Just gonna thread pop-over and tawk to a boid. Will be back in a bit!

@Izzie,
Izzie, thank you for that cartoon, that's me to a tee. Laughing My mate had a complete knee replacement and is doing remarkable well, forced himself through the pain barrier and is walking around like an Emu, even driving his car (automatic). His partner had one done too and now he is playing nursemaid as well.

Barry good to see you, nice to know you enjoyed Paris, a nephew of mine is visiting there right now and reports it is a great place. He will follow in your footsteps and take that fast channel train and spend some weeks in your part of the world next. Looking forward to your photos. If stuck, give the Captain a yell, I'm sure she'll put you on the right track. Smile

Izzie asked yesterday about the new television series that my older daughter is working for. Katrina is now a casting assistant for "Men of a Certain Age". It is a comedy-drama about three men who have been friends since college. They are now in their forties and talking about how their lives did not turn out the way they had hoped when they were younger.

@Letty,
Unfortunately CBS cancelled "Without A Trace". Katrina had worked on that show for about three years. I know you are a fan of Anthony LaPaglia and you can still see him on reruns of the show, Letty.

.......Maybe you would also like the three men in the new show, Letty. Smile

<ahem>

Good Evening Crew

whaaaa - already, it's evening Shocked and the nites are closing in fast. Just picked up the little fella and need to go do dinner for the 'walking stomach'. He has a nasty cold (bless... pass the tissues) but is full of the joys of school - he loves school. He's got a school rugby match on Saturday (he had a cracker of a match last weekend, was Numero Uno Tackler - can you imagine, wee S-boy in the ruck). Fab. Anyhoo - he has asked to join the local Rugby Club in the town on Sunday with his cousin, <I'm gonna have to face a lot of demons there, not sure if or how I can do it, huge pain!!!!!!!! Family, ex-family and past friends... plus a lot more - really don't think I can do it even 3 years down the line.... ack... giving me a head hurt just thinking about it... ugh...ugh...ugh, makes me feel ill>

Super busy, busy at work and zonked when I got home. School gained a "pet" today. A Giant African Millipede from G's place. The kids are gonna love it Razz It's got a million and 64 legs and is mahousive - amazing to watch it going for walk. It's residing in Bodmin Class and is quite happy in it's tank with heat mat and some fruit to munch. (now we just need Health and Safety to come in and there will be fun and games no doubt Rolling Eyes)

<looks up the risk assessment for milli's in schools Wink >

Hope to be back a little later on

Smooches all xxxx
