Bazza - didn't it get chilly mighty quick - was about 21degC over the weekend but when the sunset - it was nippy - teeth chattering weather - brrrrrrrr. Autumn is on it's way, no doubt about it. Love the autumn - looking forward to the first frost - it's not gonna be a long wait methinks. Razz Oh.... hoping to come up to London Town at half term and then FQ and the girls are coming down here for the end of half term - open UNI day at Falmouth. Will try and sort a bit closer to the time. Razz (that'll mean a couple hours and ring ring... on our way - ha!)

@Dutchy,
Good Morning You All!

I am better - I slept 9 hours. That's pretty sweeeeet.

Barry - we are a busy bunch. But it's good. I think we are done traveling for a bit. And I am truly happy about that. I am tired of packing and unpacking!

So it's chilly over there already! It's still hot as blazes here. Sat and watched J play fall baseball yesterday afternoon. We came home and immediately left for the ball field. Yuck...so hot. But he played well. He has got a bat - that is for sure. He played catcher yesterday. He is usually short stop. They wanted to try him out for that place because he has quite a strong little arm and can get it to second base like a rocket. I am bragging. oops.

I have work. It will be fine...I think Mondays are easy days...Tuesday is my long day. I will be fixing the amount of singing I will be doing. Still HOARSE. So...

Dutchy...I hope you rest well. Keep us ladies straight Wink

hugs all...
I'll see you later!

@wandeljw,
oh jw......... next time I go pick the little fella up from the bus I'll be sure to take photos Wink (hahahhahahahhaha)

now ... funny 'ole thing - we did take some pics - and we laughed a lot!

Here she is! Tulip getting set up...

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/waves/DSC04381.jpg

Here's our professional Very Happy

<drum roll..... drdrdrddrdrdrdrrdrrdrrdrrdrrddrrrrdrrrrrrrrrrrr>

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/waves/DSC04382.jpg

Isn't she beautiful!

and here is her badge of honour!

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/waves/DSC04386.jpg

So very proud - Tulip has achieved HUGE!

now.... if only we could work out how not to get suffocated with a squidged face by the white thingy, and where the cover is supposed to go... (not a clue) so one can breathe...

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/waves/DSC04384.jpg

then that would be excellent too!!!!!!!!!!!!

Notes to Tulip:

1) always ensure kitties and dawgs are out of the room prior to massage - problems occur when lying on front with head in table space, eyes closed and kitties tail ends up in mouth!!!!!!! Shocked Kitties like grapeseed oil. This is not a good thing!

2) don't forget raking, flapping (?) and vibrations - will be checking next Monday!

3) always be prepared to "flick" with ones fingers - so says the woodpecker (you are so laughing now)

4) NEVER EVER discuss the things we were discussing with other clients - NEVER EVER Okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!

FINALLY - TBPMS <Tulip's Black Pearl Massage Service> is now taking bookings - monopoly money will be wholly acceptable (waits for hamsters - ha) or cheques made payable to "Izzn't Tulip Brill Ltd" Wink Captain's orders - all crew - unlimited credit (Tulip, that OK with you gal!)

Get your table on the deck girl! I think a queue is forming.....stand back stand back, please wait patiently... plenty of time...

(ok hamsters.... kidding - she's not really taking bookings - not yet !) Razz

Yep jw...... she's done so fantastic - it's been a heckofa year or so for her and the kids - and she's accomplished so much - more than anyone could possibly know. Truly, she really is quite remarkable - and now, when you see her, she really is "shining" like a star. Very proud to know her.

@Izzie,
That is so awesome...and so great that she is close enough to you to come practice. Perfect.

LOOOOOONG day. Good day though. I love my kids. They crack me up. But I did this song today - it has some dancing in it...and there's a sloooooooooow part, then there is a FAST part. Do that 8 times a day - and you have yourself a pre-school workout.

Okay...gotta go get the boys to work...they have scads of homework and seem to need prodding.

See ya' later I hope.

@mismi,
Hey Mis

We had a teacher come in to school on Thursday (actually, that's a major past demon I just dealt with - this person was my ex-headteacher, she's no longer a headteacher, from my last school - she made mine and everyone's life h*ll - <Tulip knows her well!> - she did me a lot of damage headwise ... anyhooo... I went onto much better things and my current job came along at perfect timing for me to get out, but this was the first occasion I have seen her since I left the other school)

sooooooooooo

what I was gonna say

we had this teacher come in to school on Thursday, she was teaching violin -

she had all the children in the hall and, in a wailing voice, shouted right across the hall

"let me just check you all have your g-strings"

well, can you imagine, my colleague came running in to the office and we could not stop snickering - it was a case of "kiss my bahookie"

what a way to get over a demon!

<strange how someone can so adversely affect your life - then poooooof - in a breath, all of sudden - it's gone>

Oh Izzie! now I am really embarrassed! But couldn't have done it without you and the crew - especially you!

Oh boy you made me laugh! and as for that dog of yours - " Nose out of crutch!!" As I yelled it at the top of my voice for all to hear! It is not what it sounds!! honest! Lord knows what the neighbours thought when Izzie's leaving comment was "And don't forget the vibrations!" Very Happy Shocked Very Happy Laughing

Actually you were a very good client Iz. I hope you don't ache too much, thankyou for being my first proper client! and being the guinea pig!

Have a good evening one and all! X

Bahookie, that's a Scottish word.

As in, "Uch yur bahookie!", meaning, I question the veracity of your statement.

Just peeking in to say "hi". Mismi your class reminds me of my youngest's favourite teacher -- she would play boogie woogie piano at the end of the day while the class tidied their desks. Once the classroom was tidy, they could dance. (He was only six and was crushed when she got married.)

Annis, if you were closer I would entrust my aching feet to your "good vibrations" Laughing

@Tai Chi,
Hi Tai Chi, what have you been doing to get aching feet, chasing hubby around the house? Sending you good 'vibrations from down under'.

Ha! He's really easy to catch. (Do you suppose he's letting me win?)

I'm back to work, Dutchy. Gotta pay for those four months off.

I hope they feel that way about me Tai Chi...I did have one of my sweet little Chinese girls (they know hardly any English) tell me, " I love music". Pretty darn sweet. I wanted to pick her up and smooch her. But - I am trying to stay well this year...no smooching on the kiddos like I did last year. Maybe. They are just so cute!

Oh Tai Chi...retail...all that standing. I remember it well. So sorry - I bought this Homedics thing last year...it has two wheels with these little silver balls on it and hey go round and round and heat up....you put your tootsies on them and wow. It is wonderful. I can hardly get to it from my own little munchkins rubbing their little stinky feet all over it. It's nice. I like it a lot.

Dutchy - always the gentleman. Wink

Yeah - I said I was going to bed earlier - but I started watching Pride and Prejudice. It was lovely. <sigh> Mr. Darcy. Need I say more.

K. I think I really will go to bed now.

Nite all.
