That swim was refreshing mismi, but spare a thought about this heat wave we're having, it's unrelenting. Setting all sorts of records, longest heat wave in our history, hottest nights ever and worst of all bushfires which are destroying homes. It really is living hell for the poor people affected. Dutchy is safe, can see the heavy smoke because fires only 15 miles away, as I live on the edge of town. Hope your ok ddxx?

Yabbering was rife this afternoon/evening…. and how happy is that to see.

Alex24something and BigRed popped onboard whilst TTHun was lurking and BabyBlue aka Mr. Jack Koff and Mis-silly were a$$ing around for a while. However, order was restored by Bosun Bear who had been skinny dipping in the sea! No wonder S.Australia is so hot!

Indeedee - hope all is well with PaPaDD. Everyone has been sending him (((nice nurse))) vibes - hope that he is resting up now and that you and MaMaDD are k too. BigRed - (((cold-better))). WW-WOM - thinking about you too girl. See you soon. S-dixie-boy. Bone-heal wishes - hope the Dixie-family have a wonderful Spring Break together. Y'all take care. S.Australia - just a little ways from the Bear - the fires are burning and I'm sure everyone wishes the folk Down Under, especially the firefighters who are tackling the blazes, very best wishes.

Finally - just to say - my hall parquet floor is looking particularly clean and shiny. Bubble bath works wonders! :wink:

So sorry I was so goofy earlier - I get that way. Daddy Dixie is reading the Hobbit and I am about to clear dinner dishes...we stayed outside and played LATE because it is light so long now...we really like that! Played a little baseball...I hit one over their heads..quite a bit of fun - my boys think I am amazing...for a girl. S's foot is still bothering him quite a bit. And he fussed at me for making him sit and watch. It does worry me just a bit that it is bothering him so much all of a sudden. But we will just find out when we see the doc what's going on with that little foot.

You are a jewel - wishing you sound sleep soon dear girl.

Don't ever apologise for being you - you are fabulous hunni. So glad you had a nice time playing baseball - sending (((((hugs))))) to Sboy - when can you get to see the doc? From what I read earlier - anti-inflams should ease the swelling - bless the little fella. Spring Break - sand under foot and swimming in the sea - hopefully, that will distract him from the discomfort/pain. Thinking of you hunni - it's hard to watch your kid hurting. (((xox))) to you.

He was quite a hit with the nurses - they all escorted him to the car and made a real fuss. I could barely get his head in the car. Morning to bigred and bear. Wicked wench - hugs. Still sweltering here with the forecast of 38 (100) - 39 (102) -39 (102) and 36 (97) degrees for the next 4 days ddxx. So, do like me, stock up on them 'cool' drinks. Pleased to say the bushfire is under control but nearly cost the life of 9 firefighters, they got trapped, somehow escaped and finished all in hospital. Retiring to my little den in front of computer, enjoying a VB. Cheers. :wink:

It is warming nicely here. Perfect beach weather...not too hot - not too cold...though it is windy this time of year...we may feel like we are being sandblasted! But the boys will enjoy it...

It will be a busy day - boys are going to Grandaddy's house. G-baby got in trouble at school the other day for disobeying (oops) Teach told him to quit wrestling with his friend and he didn't so she said something to me. I have to walk him in this morning to apologize to his teacher. He says he won't do it again...we'll see. He is a handful - the twins NEVER got in trouble...this early anyway.

And I have errands to run - I am team Mom for G-baby's baseball team and I have to go pick up the uniforms. We are getting the caps monogrammed with the kids names...much easier to keep up with that way- have to go do that, and then get a new crate for Biscuit...she has outgrown her old one...she is getting to be quite the hoss...not fitting in my lap anymore even.
