"YABBER-LINER" - ALL ABOARD

I am exhausted. Feeling rough as rats too now!

Went out. It was....... exhausting.

First half " didn’t quite “get” the middle bit so much because I didn’t know the musicals so the spoof was kinda lost on me, second half was fantastic " Aspects of Junita and Speakeasy - fabulous. The actors/resses were brilliant " absolutely brilliant. G’sBoy directed the show " he is a star in the making. Such a quiet, quiet, quiet peaceful kid " but he shines on the stage " completely transforms - tho he was directing tonite.

Met “The G-Parents” " we all sat together I didn’t know they would be there " they saw the show yesterday!!!!!!!!!!! They were very sweet, gentle, kindly folk. They still don’t know that G has been in contact with me for the last couple years which is a bit weird for me. I just don’t quite get that either " but... that’s the way G chooses it to be. Many family members in the show. G-daughter, who was “front of house”, pointedly ignored me and sat behind us " G did poke her in the ribs hard when she ignored my polite “goodbye” " hey ho " I know it’s her problem, tho she’s making it mine (hence, out of here). Crap on a pancake. Nem’mind.

Anyhooooo " the show was great " that’s the important thing. First production of the company " and if this is how it starts " then truly, their company will go far. This was all for charity " G’boy and Girlfriend are good kids (adults) " the ethos of the company is to encourage kids and adults into theatre, confidence and self esteem building. I’m sure they will do well when they finish university. They will be at the “after show party” now " they all deserve the best time " have done really well.

So, back home and baked some bread " as you do!!!!!! S-boy is still not well and is in bed. My Mom came over to look after him and promptly weeded the front before walking in the house. I’m glad I was able to go and not have to worry about him.

Head is pounding now and throat is ack. Need to get some good sleep tonite. Going to take meds now!

Morning crew, lots of reading this morning to catch up on all the happenings. Pleased to see tryagain around the place, his posts always add a bit of 'class' to the thread, maybe one day he will be nominated for the Nobel prize for literature.

Wishing both mismi and Tulip save trips, you both have a great time, stay at the top end Tulip far to cold down south!

With Izzie and myself disappearing as well, we'd better anchor the 'yabber-liner' somewhere safe, or maybe Bazza the Harbour Master can take charge.

Morning BEAgle... bug-errrrrrrrr... I have one - S-boy is feeling much better (phew), I think he must've slept it away - hopefully I'll be feeling better too soon. Nasty bugs going around right now - everyone seems to have something - nothing sick sick - just under the weather stuff. Shouldn't complain - am deep and husky - which in normal terms means I think a lot but I'm not a dawg! Ho ho ho. Ok - that was a terrible joke. Cheering myself up.

S-boy has just gone to see his Dad (who won't go and get S-boys hair cut because he is "hay making" - HA - nearly peed my pants when I heard that. Whaaaaaaaaaaaa! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - what a b*tch! I should hush. Have one of those moods on where the "must do's" not done are rapidly catching me up and I need to get my bahookie in gear but my body won't play nice.

However, I'M GOING TO BE ON AN AREOPLANE SOON AND I. CAN.T WAIT. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!

Just come back from a wonderful day at the country show with my boyz. Loads of Sunshine, Ice Cream & not to mention 2hrs queuing for the face painting. Thank goodness for Dad's, he waited in line while DJ & I wandered round the stalls tasting the food & chasing bubbles.....must be the time of year hey Izz? lol

Have just seen the pics on facebook - ohhhhhhhh.... lovely - loved seeing the photos of the kids - big 'n little - the pics of the little fella are just gorgeous. So pleased you had a great day - and good on Dad for waiting in the queue.



Haven't achieved a whole lot here today but did get the suitcases out of the loft - holey schmoely - you know those fellas came and did the loft insulation - sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet - they put feet of this stuff in the loft - need a foot high all around - moved all the boxes to one end and covered the entire loft. It's so .... insulated Nasty - don't like loft insulation - itchy scratchy stuff.

So... tomorrow is my last day for sorting the house out. It really is a mess and I shoulda done it today - but had a visitor and couldn't do, which was fine, because I didn't have the energy to do anyhoo. The next catflap has been done in the conservatory........they have side and back exits and entrances - spoiled rotten - nothing like a power tool, add a bit of elbow grease and brute force et voila - squeaky cat flap........mmmmmmmm... bit worried about leaving my cats for the duration. There will be someone here feeding them and all - but I'm their MaMa and the black one especially is my shadow. He'll be a little lost without me (I know it's a cat, they aren't supposed to be like that - but he is - Murphy is a little more independent - but the black boy pretty much lives on my bed and on the sofa next to me when he's not outside downsizing the shrew population. Hey ho. I'm sure they'll both be fine.
