Morning All - early start with F-boy arriving for the day whilst Tulip goes to college. I was here last nite playing............ in my sleep - woke at 2.30am - smoodged face on the sofa, laptop on knees. Terrible. Gotta stop doing that. Had to sort dawgs and cats and that "stuff" - then into bed around 3.00. Complete fog.

Off to hospital in a mo - new shoes! Yuk. We'll see......

I am a wee bit bleary eyed this morning...but thasalright! I'll perk up soon. I hope.

Izzie - I am going to have to tell you like I tell the Prof. get in the bed to do your reading and such...waking up on the couch cannot be comfortable...all stiff and then you have to get up and move and by that time you could be wide awake and have a hard time going back to sleep. It's hard though...intentionally going to sleep is so hard. I don't like it. I love to sleep - it's the getting there that proves difficult at times. (((Izzie))) take care of yourself dear girl.

I am floundering a bit this morning...so I gotta find my motivation and go with it.

BUCKETING DOWN WITH RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One minute it's blue, then it's torrents! Holey Schmoley.

So............. been and done.

There are some verra nice people in the world who go out of their way to make life a little easier. Went to get my new shoes - it was a trial fitting - which means, they didn't have soles or inners - but.... the nice man put the shoe together and I had a little walk around. I walk with a noticeable limp! Who knew! I am pingu on my right foot because the foot doesn't bend - so walking with new shoes which are made to fit the foot and toots and to encourage normal gait - is really peculiar. We did a bit of ummmmmmming and ahhhhhhhing about what to do re a rocker shoe (which would be a very noticeable made shoe - ugh) and he could see the changes already happening with my toot since the last surgery - but have decided that I'll give the first mould a go and see how it works. Ha - I have to push my foot in the shoe and it has laces - see, how does that work then when your hands don't work? Nem'mind. I'll figure it out.

Now, thing is - it takes 2 weeks to send the shoe off to be finished. I explained I was going away at short notice. So, nice man made a call and they are going to try and get the shoes made and sent back to the city by Tuesday. How cool would that be.

No guarantees - but they've been sent off to be finished... I have to call disablement services tomorrow to see if they will be able to get them back in time. Bless that nice man. (shoes are OK...ish.... ya know... don't look too terribly awful - sexy is not quite the word... but hey ho - look trainer-ish!)

Mis - you are right - I must discipline myself to go to bed... S-boy keeps telling me "take the laptop upstairs Mom and fall asleep in bed" - I will do that tonite. Have a good day girlie - hope you find your motivation

So...... went and did some shopping - sheesh - we have food in the house!!!!!!!! and I got some little shorts. F-boy and S-boy are upstairs playing now - I dropped them over with my nephew to play for a while - they were very loud methinks - boys being boys. Have got my $'s sorted and received my e-ticket notification thru the post. Still have a very large to-do list - but right now, going to put my toots up. Did a fair bit of walking this morning - it does me in!

House again looks like tornado-ville - how can such a little fella make such a mess!!!!!!!!!! Pick up...drop down... pick up something else.... drop down.

k.......... going to make tea and throbbing feet up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ha - no chance of resting the feet..... too much going on. Had a meeting I had to get sorted before going away, which lasted a while - but that's done and I can now get on to thinking about our vacation. Still - have piles to do. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaan.... it's midnite already!

Welllllllllllllllllllllllllll.... wonders never cease. I am in BED! (darn " gotta go get meds else I’ll be here all night " darn). Well, I am in the room atop the bed, where the wardrobes have thrown up all over the floor and I. DON'T. CARE. The boyz are downstairs sleeping on the sofa. They are so tired. S-boy has been a cranky so-and-so. Can't think where he gets that from either. <who me, no never>

They did make my heart melt thisavo. Blowing bubbles. mmmmm. Bubbles - the colour of the rainbow and wee globes bobbing thru the air on a breeze. Love a bubble. Just... love a bubble.

Anyhooooooooooooooo... the rain has just been unbelievable. Where is the ARK! Sun, rain, sun, rain. River rose... incredible. The clear waters turned muddy and torrents of water rushed past.






Daisy Daisy.... it may have got a little battered in the turmoil over the last few days ... but tomorrow it will be just as strong, if not stronger.
