Good morning crew from a very sunny Florida!!! We r having an amazing time. Theme parks, water parks and lying by the pool. The girls persuaded L boy and I to go on the scariest wooden roller coaster at Busch gardens. I am the worlds biggest wimps when it comes to coasters. Anyway this ride started going up and up and I thought I would die of fright! L"s glasses flew off ( lost!! ) and we were traumatised with hysterical laughter. Never again!! K is as brown as a berry and the girls are all freckly!!

Vbv... Enjoy the chocs from our bosun bear and love to you all. Wish you were all here. It was 110 yesterday and looks like we r not missing english summer. Have a great weekend.

The connotation is that even when you mean no harm and have pure intentions, you can destroy somebody else's well laid plans. Life is unpredictable, and while preparing for the unpredictable future we are not enjoying the present moment - which the mouse seems to be able to do. The narrator reminisces on "prospects drear," i.e. bad events that have happened in the past which in some ways prevent him from moving on. Furthermore, some say that he is very fearful of the future and that these two reasons do not allow him to enjoy the present.

So....... tho I haven’t pushed the button yet, in fact, I can’t do anything until Monday, in fact, I really haven’t thought the details through but nem'mind, it's sounding good so far ... what is the expression... live for the day? " So, my “today” plan is to pick up the little fella and leave in a week or so (need to (a) find passports (b) book some flights " don’t finish work ‘til Wednesday, hospital on Thursday for my new shooz " delightful " Bethie " you love new shooz " please love mine for me!). At some stage sort the animals out, hair cut, travel insurance, meds.... blah blah blah.... then " figure out how to get to Heathrow. Not a clue. Won't be figuring it out tomorrow either.

Not sure how I’m going to do any of this yet " but we're planning on going to Dallas, hoping to sing Karaoke with the Rock at the Roadkill and fly into Chi-Town! This time in 11 days " should be on a plane sailing!

No he went back to his home town and it was all hush hush but I had an informant! he gave a free performance for an hour and half! I am on a real high!

I said I was going to do my best to get up there...and I am. The next couple of months is full of stuff Izzie....but I am going to do whatever I can to get up to see you somewhere up there. I will be in touch.

No, I wish...if Izzie makes it to Chi-town...I am doing my darndest to get up there. It will depend on the schedule and the Prof. - We are going to Tennessee twice and SanDiego and down to Mobile - pretty much all around that period. It's so crazy.

I think maybe getting away is a good idea. Clear out your head. Give you something entirely "else" to focus on. Hope you don't tax yourself too much physically. (I worry.)
