happy day at the house - couldn't quite manage to go "out" - strange - wanted to, but couldn't make myself - doh! But - we had a great time here - S-boy took his flute outside and flauted around the garden - so lovely to see - he managed to rig his fishing rod (which is about three times his height) - he did it all by himself and was so proud when he achieved it - then ran in the house and got his flute. Funny - isn't it - he does something happy and then has to make music and hug - I do something happy and have to pick up my camera and hug y'all. We were talking about that today.

So, we've been bambooing - what can you make from bamboo? - dragonflies of course...... ok - you so need an imagination here. Saw the most amazing damselflies today - they were twitterpating - fascinating to watch! They fly around joined together landing on different leaves, then go land on the water, leaf, water, leaf, water... you get the picture - so many beautiful colours.

I looked in the mirror today - weird - saw a different person looking back at me - that was kinda good. I'm rambling - tired now - but MUST do something about the house - there is sheet music all over the office and around the house, bits of tut and everything's looking a little dusty - ha - dusty can stay - tut needs picked up.

ok......... that'll wait... little fella is truly brilliant....... gymnastics.... he has learned to do the headstand (olympic quality, naturally ) <well, he did that many years ago - but he now goes from headstand into handstand - his upper body strength is...... quite incredible. Am I biased - yes of course I am He's been able to go up into the handstand for a while using the wall to balance - but now he's unsupported. May post a video of him a little later - he's terribly proud of himself and he wants to show his Uncle Rock!!!!!!! <I'm proud of him too - I used to be a gymnast - it's good to watch him do this stuff>

Morning crew. A pleasure to read your "waffling" and learning you had such a lovely day with S-boy Izzie. Your happiness shines through the incredible photos you posted, absolutely brilliant! I can't get over the greenness and freshness of it all, springtime has certainly left its mark.

Will drop M and C off at the airport in a little while, they had a fabulous weekend, more so because their football team had a great win, the purpose of their visit. C was all smiles last night even though his voice was nearly gone, all raspy.

Looking forward to Thursday when I'm off for a few days.

Right now its about 82 degrees outside.

Yesterday Stacy, Cody and I went to the zoo.
We had a blast, and Stacy went picture crazy with her camera.
Once I figure out how to do it I will post some of them.

Afterwards, we went to the movie.
We went and saw the new Disney film "Up".
It was ok, but I wasnt super impressed with it. I dont think it was as good as some of the earlier Pixar films, but it was still a good movie.

We just got a surprise.
Kaines mother Augusta, who was in prison when Kaine died, just knocked on our door.
She is out now, and wanted to surprise Stacy.
She has already been to the gravesite, and likes the way it has been taken care of.

I love that Peony Didge...very pretty - as they all are. I am not doing so well with the gardening this year...I wonder if I will ever get to do it again? So busy with the dogs and the boys....It's all I can do to keep them busy and the house clean and the dogs brushed...I need the pool...tomorrow maybe...hopefully.

Hope you all had a wonderful Sunday...going to make myself a cup of tea...throat is still sore. But I don't feel badly - it is just annoying.

Oh my - MaddieDawg ran away...... again. Out the catflap and off down the pub!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got home with the little fella - gone! Neighbour had received phone calls - someone had watched as Maddie nearly got run down - so they picked her up and took her to the pub where she has been having a happy time with a pint of John Smiths and an Alsation playmate.

OH MY!!!!!!!!!!!

Gonna have to lock her in a room now when I leave the house !


Another summer's day here - truly splendid. Have a chook and baked potato in the oven - annnnnnnnnd stop - settling down for a summer's eve. S-boy has homework - RS - Catholicism, Irish immigrants.......... so, I'm going to go and sit outside by my babbling brook for a bit and let him brainstorm.

Who are you and what have you done with our Izzie?

This is our Izzie! Love it that you are so happy!

Poor G-baby has had a bad day...he was playing with Biscuit and ran into the corner of a bookcase (different one than the last one) and split his head open. Thankfully, I had some steri-strips. Called our Pediatrician and he said just clean it good and tape it closed...I did. No stitches! whew! Then he was helping me wash the car and stepped on a nail. I was then advised that J and S had started a project...of course the lecture about using my tools and nails without asking and without being careful...but they were so sad for G. G-baby was crying in the bathroom while I was cleaning up his foot and said "I am having a very bad day!" Poor sweet baby. We have been snuggling watching "Chowder". I love that cartoon.

I can't get the lawn mower started. I hate that. It ticks me off. Why could I do it when I was thirteen and now I can't pull that string thingy hard enough to get it going. Very frustrating. Grrr. My backyard looks like a jungle.

Laundry...I have laundry. Yuck...no wonder I wanted to mow the yard.

oh........ I'm back. Bored of that now - being far too responsible and have completely bamboozled myself setting up meetings this week and being an adult. Phew... done for another 6 months or so now

I am so dang tired - gotta go to work in the morning - and actually, still a pile of papers to shuffle here - but I did do heaps - HEAPS. Shocked myself even more - I ironed Bl**dy Nora. (sorry mis.... forgive my language!) Iron........ that's ore.... not my sorta thing at all !!!

Temporary insanity.... or sanity - has now been restored. But Ima happy girlie.

I need more hours in the day. The next four days are going to be full on - work each morning - meetings in afternoons - I'm not too sure I can do all that I've arranged - ha - so much for being organised. I think I will have burned out by Wed nite... somehow I've got to get to Friday before I can stop again. mmmmmmmmmmmmm... Too much....... it's all too much.

Swine flu is all the rage here at the moment, disease slowly spreading, although the authorities tell us not to panic. Saw saw several people travelling overseas yesterday wearing their face masks whilst boarding their plane. I wonder if it is increasing or abating in other parts of the world?

ooof, bad day all round eh

bet there were a few @%#&$ mixed in with the la la la's this afternoon

KittyCat is doing just dandy - in fact... I think (not often) - that he has a vets appointment tomorrow - can anyone remember - I think I posted it's either tomorrow or Thursday..... tomorrow I think. Oh, well, that's tomorrows problem - will be there in just over 40 mins - will make a call in the morning. His eye was a little weepy for a while but he was trying to take his dissolvable stiches out.

He is looking particularly handsome these days - he shimmers.... I have a bunch of pics I've been promising MsOlga and haven't had a chance to post them....

but here he is.... my black shadow - he is ma boy! He's recovered remarkably - he's a bit of a fix yourself upper - doesn't whine at all...









Yep - vets bill cost more than Sboys flute - which I had to get today as his bottom notes had dropped out - flute £290........ oh holey hole in the bank.... hey ho - live once - he loves his music, there is no choice there....... gotta just ...do it. Kitties and dawgs are a luxury.... but also part of the family - so, just gotta do that too.

So just looky here too - this fella was doing the dance of the damsels - wish I had the time to put some pics up - think I will just have to synch to the web tho - much quicker.



Need to try and settle for bed shortly - ack, hate that.... wanna keep going.

Afraid so a lot of heart pounding - I felt his screams to my bones. I can always tell when they're hurt. But he is fine and dandy...made him some chocolate chip muffins and he seems to be quite happy now. Though he pulls out the "poor, poor pitiful me" every so often. cute little boy he is.

Izzie - KC is beautiful! He looks wonderful. I know - same thing with the doggies and my kitty - poor little Beta Fishy (Alex) is just the easiet. Bless his wee bones. only requires three little food pellets and clean water every so often. Lazy little booger though. The dogs - all that shedding right now...quite the job brushing and sweeping after them. Ptooey. Levi (my black kitty) is also quite easy. Short hair and laid back. Only requires his food and water every morning in my sink and sleeping on my side. When I roll, he jumps down and waits til I am settled and hops on the other side. He goes outside in the morning and the evening.
