@The Pentacle Queen,
V V V excited for you too PQ - how wonderful - whole new worlds to explore - fabulous! Vienna..... ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and ohhhhhhhhhh again! So pleased for you.

I'm remaining undisciplined - I have been "doing" in the garden - sensory overload to the max - the birds all have new feasts to delight on and have had their dinner platters moved to a different locale where hopefully there will be less of the "I taught I taw a puddytat" "I did" "doof" antics goings on!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've sploodged into a freckle fountain - and am looking more like a robin! Bit too warm for this boid and my joints are not happy - they aren't acclimatising to "doing" and "heat" and my hands and feet have become indelicate mishapen flumps on the ends of my arms and legs - hey ho - the lawn daisies are happy they have not had their heads cut off at this point - tho, I need to get one lawn done at least - just so I think I have achieved one thing today. <I've achieved loads - just nothing useful Razz>

All in all - all is well and good in IzLand.

Hoping Bazza is feeling better.

Sleep big Down Unders - missing our Indeedee - hope all is good with you and yours. x

You have no idea how happy I am to see that sunny face, mis mi!

Big Hugs and welcome back.

(((((( mismi ))))))

That is very welcoming indeed! (((JPB))) I MISSED YOU!

I am so glad to have my computer back...though I will say, it was nice for a bit. It is amazing how this machine complicates life...the phone too. But - there are too many dear people they connect me to, to do without them...so have them I must!

Izzie - you sound like you have the right idea. Housework - though a necessary evil - can be ignored - SHOULD be ignored on beautiful days! Enjoy yourself sweet friend.

Sounds like Bathy is having a good time! So happy for you - sounds like you are doing very well! Good to see you too...

Howdy Alex - you ok?

Well...I am off to buy a tent. We are camping out in a baseball field tonight. I know - well - I'm not - the boys are. I am not a good camper - I will do it, but for this, well...I am just going to get me home to my warm snuggly bed. I hate being all dewey and chilly. Yuck.

I'll see you all this afternoon! IT'S FRIDAY! whoohoo!

xxoo

May I have a moment to get sentimental, if nobody objects that is.....

Good, nobody objects.
I have just been going through my old posts on this thread, starting when Kaine died (that was almost 200 pages ago BTW).
I have reread all of the comments everyone made, and it struck me that I am a very lucky man.
I have never met any of you, but I consider all of you my closest friends.
Your help and support when Kaine died, your concern about me when the ice storm hit, and your concern now regarding Stacys grandmother are indeed overwhelming, and a little humbling.
I dont know what I did to deserve friends like all of you, especially since I dont spend nearly as much time on this ship as I should.
I always seem to have other things to do, or other things to think about.

Am I taking all of you for granted?
I hope not, but I do think I am.
Izzie, your untiring emotional support has been a lifesaver to me when things have gone bad.

Any and all of you that ever get to my part of Ky have standing invitations for dinner, no matter what time of year it is.

Stacys grandmother has been home for 3 days now, and is starting to fail.
Her kidneys have shut down completely, and the dr's give her less then 1 week.
Stacy is handling it well, or as well as cn be expected.
She went to the dr today and was given some antidepressants to help her cope.
She has accepted Kaines death, finally and is starting to become the woman I fell in love with.

Anyway, I am reporting for duty now, and I promise to do a better job of taking my turn on watch.

Thanx for letting me ramble, I now return you to your regularly scheduled ramblings.

@mysteryman,
oh Jeff.... love you hun...

(tears here too>

Stacy and you, Cody and your family are blessed to have one another. Thru tragedy you can often find a family ripped apart - I'm so glad that hasn't happened to your family - it shows incredible love and strength, even at the hardest times. Conner is growing and Stacy's sister is coming full circle with support from family. What an incredible family to be part of.

Grandma is home now... peace will come and Stacy can be there with her, for her - as she chooses and with what strength she has. Palliative care will hopefully provide a dignified means and medication to suffer less.

Thinking of you all Jeff - your friendship here is welcomed always - we are the ones who are fortunate to know you and share your life - 'een when the journey involves riding out a storm. So glad you feel safe to come here. Come aboard as much or as little as you need to............ we'd love to see you - but what's really nice - is just knowing you can... and ususally, if we don't see someone for a while, it means they are leading busy lives and days are rolling by fast - and that is hopefully a good thing.

(except Mis... she has a duff computer............. so very very happy to see her back and hearing her talk - had mis withdrawl smiley sunshine heart ache> Wink

<apols for typos........ 4.32am.........the dawn chorus is calling my name - about to listen to a symphony in the trees.>

@Izzie,
I can well imagine after long days like that anybody could fall asleep but with a beautiful woman like you nearby I would try my hardest to keep awake. Wink

Now coming back to that cuppy, how about if I bring some of my freshly baked scones (still warm), and strawberries, only bought at the market this morning. Give me a minutes and I'll whip up some cream as well. Smile

And don't drop that duvet or I'll drop the cream. Razz
