Guess where I went this morning? Lowe's Home Improvement store. And I got to look at POWER TOOLS...I have a drill that has a laser level on it and I get to use it this afternoon...but I needed to get a new saw for my jig saw. I have to put a cover on the boys sand box so that the neighbors cat will stop using it as it's litter box...I know - that's gross isn't it?

So, I have to cut this huge piece of plywood down and then I get to use my new drill to put the handle and the hinges on it. I had to dig out all of the sand...and then spray it down with clorox water - I will let it dry out then put the new sand in...you should have seen me trying to push this cart with 300 lbs of sand - someone finally helped me though...I am sure they thought I was going to get a hernia or something lifting those bags into the Griswold-wagon. I could have done it...and would have - but I am not one to turn down help

AND I am planning my flower beds up front - that makes me very happy - then I have to get my raised bed ready in the back yard for my tomatoes and peppers...and of course my herbs...it's almost SPRING! Makes me so so happy - even though I am so chilly this morning..brrrrr.

Really hard getting things done though - between Biscuit, Pistol and G-baby - there is someone always underfoot....wee bit frustrating...well I am almost done with my lunch break....about to hit the yard - again!

Not as gross as when you see the kids in the sand and ask them what they're building sandcastles with hunni! Go girl - love a jig-saw - did a plyboard crocodile for my little fellas desk to stop the pencils always rolling off the back. And a power tool - on my 40th I was given my own electric screwdriver. What a godsend! (Oh - that sounds bad.... but I'm serious )

That is making me laugh so much! HOW FUNNY - no - I am in total agreement - love power tools...something so empowering about them...kind of get why guys love them so much! My husband gets annoyed when I see a commercial and ask him to buy one for my at my next birthday...thinks it is decidedly unfeminine of me...oh well...he gets over it - pretty quick!

Now that they have had some practice, may just have to have some new Ship's Orders - spread the massages around the rest of the crew who need a little TLC a?
